Panicking Over His Newfound Freedom
As he bound my wrists and ankles together, he said, "Sorry, Elena. Just bear with this for a bit. Good things are waiting for us back in Bonhaven!"
I whimpered and cried out in protest as I glowered at John.
There was a thunderous bang as someone kicked open the door to the lounge. John immediately shielded me and yelled, "Hey, hey, hey! Who the hell do you think you are, buddy? Get out! Nothing to see here, just a pair of lovebirds getting frisky. Wait, Mr. Langley? W-What are you doing?"
John was still speaking when Julian kicked him to the side and crouched before me to loosen my bindings. He wiped away the tears cascading down my cheeks and comforted me, "I'm sorry I showed up late."
