The Boy who Circled Time

The Boy who Circled Time

He was far too small and Lila was sure that she could make an anatomically correct diagram of the human skeleton through the direct observation of him and him alone. His once tan skin, only a little darker than her own and slightly less tinged with the warm yellow of candle light, that component instead replaced with brass and bronze and the colours of expensive olive oil, was now thin enoug for each and every nerve, each and every blood vessel, both veins and arteries and capillaries, to be been and traced in their purple, green, and blue lines, forming a road map of Jasper's body and history. It would be hard to look at, if it weren't so morbidly fascinating to see.

Sasha POV The cold that runs through out my body is one I've never felt before in all the years I've lived in the always chaotic city of Portland Oregon. I open my eyes being met with a darkness I've also never known and it chills my already chilled bones. I try to move my hands only to fail feeling them bound in front of me with frayed rope that’s cut into my skin making it sting, my voice rises from deep with in my chest as I scream out for help.

Wanderers Of the Night

Wanderers Of the Night

They pierced the ground with force, left deep holes and turned into crumbs. The bone monster abruptly sat down, its paws seemed to give way, unable to withstand the collapsing body. The skeleton, raising a cloud of ash, fell on its side, twitched, the vertebrae of the neck began to turn the skull in a circle, it became clear that a furious light continued to burn in the eye sockets.

Shifter Deathbound Curse

"Be careful. If this is a trap… don't let him into your mind deeper than he already is." Siron nodded, then turned back, sliding her head and shoulders into the crevice. The stone was cold and damp. She crawled forward, using her phone as a flashlight. The light only illuminated a few centimeters in front of her. The passage sloped downward, then opened into a small chamber, like a man-made cave or perhaps a collapsed tomb. And in the center of the room, lying on a flat stone, was a skeleton. But it wasn't a normal human skeleton.

The Hidden Chip in the Martyr's Bones

The Hidden Chip in the Martyr's Bones

I handed her the finished data myself. And to seal my "defection," she had me entombed alive in the institute's sub-basement, concrete poured over the entrance. Two years later, the pandemic was declared over. The old research complex was slated for redevelopment. An excavator bucket tore through the foundation and unearthed a grotesquely contorted skeleton. Only when forensics pried the data chip—the one I'd implanted to monitor the drug's effects—from the rotted tissue did the buried truth finally surface.

MY POSSESSIVE STEPBROTHER IS MY MATE

MY POSSESSIVE STEPBROTHER IS MY MATE

I murmured, turning the thick page to reveal a two-page spread of a terrifying canine skeleton. "The bones in these drawings are elongated to support an unnatural muscle mass, and the fangs are way too large for a regular timber wolf," I pointed out the impossible biology. I leaned closer to read the handwritten notes scribbled in the margins, and the dark words made my stomach twist into a cold knot. "You are starting to scare the shit out of me," Connor admitted quietly. "The notes detail specific bone densities and healing rates, and the text describes the creatures shifting their actual skeletal structure under extreme distress," I read aloud.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Then, a skeleton wearing a sharp helmet slowly climbed up from the swamp. Compared to the human skeleton, the skeleton's arm was longer. If it completely hung down, it would reach the knee. At this time, the skeleton stood on the swamp and turned around as if it was looking around. After a while, it faced one direction, stood still, and slowly straightened its chest. This action was like a person breathing deeply. It was more like someone announcing his return. He raised the hand. A ball of blue phosphorus fire condensed in the skeleton's palm.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

The First Heir

The First Heir

The dismembered skeletons healed instantly and became stronger. After they returned to normal, they attacked Philip and the others with everything they had. Philip dared not drop his guard and quickly brandished his weapon. He did not know if the resurrected skeletons had become stronger. “These bones should be cooked in broth,” Philip frowned as he muttered under his breath. The force of these skeletons had exceeded 10,000 kilograms. Philip thought he could buy some time by dismembering the skeletons. He thought that they could leave this place as long as they passed the test duration. However, the skeletons grew stronger yet again, which was strange.

love this book...the way the writer builds up the characters most especially the ML..but i was wondering why would the ML have to endure such humiliations from his inlaws when he could just show them his real 'him' as well and the enormous power that he holds considering the status of his family...w

Flash Marriage, Billionaire's Sweet Wife

He stared at the skeleton with a puzzled face, and his eyes sparkled like crystal grapes. "This human skeleton can be split freely. Its original owner is a forensic doctor. She has a younger brother who has congenital poliomyelitis and is often bullied by her classmates at school. She can't protect him next to her brother all the time, so she gives her brother the skeleton she used before so that her brother can protect himself. Her brother is now an adult, and he gave the skeleton to the boutique I often go to. Now I'll give it to you, okay? "Elisa said.
