Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Beneath the rotting leaves came occasional faint cracking sounds, the noise of buried bones being crushed. As far as the eye could see, scattered remains lay throughout the forest: human skeletons, the bones of demonic beasts, and countless shattered fragments. Some bones still had broken magical weapons embedded in them, rusted longswords, or shattered jade pendants. Layer upon layer, they paved a path from the mountain's base deep into its heart, like a Netherworld Path laid with corpses.

Torn Between Alphas

Torn Between Alphas

“That came from below.” He forced his hand into the earth and rested a moment on the cold ground. His eyes closed silently for just a moment. He said the ground sheltered some sort of activity. “Not close… but it’s moving.” Lucian looked ahead. The way ahead separated into three, much as Renak’s map had shown would occur. Three paths were dividing the road, with each heading off toward a different part of the forest. Only the path into the south that disappeared furthest offered no light at all.

Happy that I came across this book, where it portrayed the emotions of a woman when she is going through an abusive marriage. Loved the ending where she decides to move on in her life rather than to give 2nd chance to her abusive husband, which he doesn't deserve either. Hoping for more such stories

loved the book, it was such a emotional roller-coaster ride. The character Kaushalya will always stay in my mind because she isn't a fictional character anymore. Sanjiv and Ram are two totally different characters and I loved how author showed their flaws. though I'm in love with Ram. thanks author.

My Seven Gorgeous Women

The Divine Blood Stone Wall, Nether Deity Hall, Greedy Wolf, 12 Notes of Emerald, the Nether Deity Plaque, and Memory Orbs all provided him with Path insights. Finally, there was the Book of Life and Death with the most impressive origin. With a single glance at it, phantoms of people from all realms appeared. Shadows of countless lives materialized in his sea of consciousness. The massive flood of information made him dizzy for a moment. The black and white phantoms outside his body, the shadow of the Nether Deity Hall, the sounds of the Path, divine radiance, and various Path phenomena all paused briefly, like a glitch.

The Alpha's Refusal

The next night, the pieces began to collide. My shadow returned first, his boots caked in oily, black mud. "I found Harlen," he whispered. "He told me of a place back toward the pass we entered from. He called it a 'dead lung.' He says the stone there rejects the light. It's behind us, tucked into the jagged peaks of the last ridge." I frowned, pulling the secret map from its hiding place. The description of a "dead lung" matched the feeling of the terrain, but something was wrong.

The Rogue Healer's Secret

The warmth in the air disappeared. Nyxar frowned. "We've crossed into another part of the path." Celestia nodded. "The Forest of Joy has ended. The Forest of Regret begins." Immediately, the atmosphere grew heavier. The first tree they passed displayed a different kind of memory: Fenrir kneeling beside Rhea after the battle. Another showed Nyxar watching his kingdom burn. Another showed Killian standing alone after believing Seraphina had died years ago. Seraphina instinctively slipped her hand into his. "You don't have to look."

Veil Of A Secret Vow

Veil Of A Secret Vow

Elyra gasped. Astera was weakening. Not someday. Now. Then the First Guardian took a slow step toward Elyra and Zevarion. Her eyes were gentle. But filled with urgency. "There are only two paths left." The city fell silent. Even the whispers stopped. Astera raised one glowing hand. Two beams of light appeared before them. One silver. One crimson. The silver path shimmered with warmth. Hope. Sacrifice. The crimson path pulsed with immense power. Temptation.

UNCHARTED PATH

He rechecked the map. Still moving, but he was no longer on the old textile road. Immediately, Dan’s voice crackled in his earpiece. “Update boss, the guy took a detour — he is along the industrial lane now, heading toward the Seabridge outskirts. I think he might be heading towards the beach.” “Alright, keep tracking him. I’m staying on this,” Alex responded.

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

--- 6:06 PM — Sector N, Peripheral Fogline Walk The fog had come back thicker in the late afternoon. A slight trickle of passersby flowed down the path of fogline, all carrying soft-pulse audio staves that emitted light when specific frequencies coordinated. The path whispered to them at intervals—a blend of recorded sentences, modified clause repeats, and sensor readings. One whisper rolled up from the earth: "Clause Thirty—Pathways matter more than endpoints." A teenager halted walking. "But what if you never arrive where you intended to?" Elira did not pause walking but replied as she moved by. "Then the path indicates where you were needed instead."

الأسئلة الشائعة

I was half-asleep on a late train when I first saw the title 'Road of the Dead' on my phone and it stuck in my head like a catchy chorus. To me, that phrase immediately splits into two clear images: a literal path populated by the dead (zombies, spirits, corpses on a cursed highway) and a metaphorical route people take when choices lead them somewhere irreversible. The word 'road' implies movement, choices, a sequence of events; 'dead' shuts the door on returning to how things were.

If I had to pin a meaning, I say it's an exploration of journeys that end in finality — not just physical death, but the death of innocence, of societies, of relationships. The title tells you the work will be about transit through loss, about places where the past refuses to stay buried. It primes you for bleak landscapes, moral tests, and maybe a few flashes of redemption.

I always like to read titles as invitations. 'Road of the Dead' is an invitation to walk a dangerous, memory-haunted route and to face what we leave behind; sometimes I picture it as a fogged highway with mile markers made of memories, which I think is oddly comforting in its honesty.
