Perfect Lie

Perfect Lie

I grit my teeth, I've already made a fool of myself, it doesn't matter if I finish it. I knew it, ever since I opened my mouth everything went out of control and now unintentionally I seem like a jealous and hurt woman because her man has betrayed her. It doesn't matter anymore what he promised me, it's clear that he has the right to do whatever he wants with his love life. I'm really being ridiculous. "Oh, come on, you can't be serious, you can't say that, please." Totally cynical, he doesn't have the balls to admit what my eyes have seen. Who would be stupid enough to believe the story that they just ran into each other? Ha, as if I were the queen of empty heads to imagine things that don'

As usual, all the students are looking at us, mostly looking at Cream or the others, no one ever really looks at me or maybe I can't see it because I'm always looking at the floor but all of a sudden when Coco suddenly turns and says "Ah, Caramel!" I jump a little, Cream's hand being the only thing holding in me place as I say "Y-Yeah?" He's carrying up his phone "A fanfiction about us both is ranking number one in fanfic on W*****d!" A visible cringe shows on my face as I say "U-Us?" Chocolate turns around completely, now walking backwards as he says "Yep! Me and you! Yeah, yeah, I know I can't like kiss you or whatever but in this book, you really like sex! Which isn't a lie, you literally

My Perfect Score, Her Perfect Betrayal

My Perfect Score, Her Perfect Betrayal

I knew I sounded harsh right then, but I couldn't stop myself. I'd scored 626 on the National College Entrance Exam—200 points above the undergraduate cutoff—yet I couldn't get into college now. Nicole swayed where she stood, and her tears fell even harder. "Fi, don't blame Preston. I begged him… I was just too scared to lose you. Your grades are so good. Once you get to college, you'd definitely make new friends. I was afraid you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore…"

He smiled perversely. "I mean any fantasies of the golden girl." "What do you mean?" "Are you telling me you didn't have any teenage fantasies?" "I..." Surely teenage Ellie never imagined she would have a man like Ethan. "Don't let it get to your head, but this," I leaned in, touching his abdomen, tracing the path with my fingers between the muscles down one side of the V, stopping at the waistband of his pants. "God... Yes! This is much better than any fantasy."

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

"If I knew I had an audience, I'd have played it better." I don't think it's possible for it to get better. I haven't seen someone that plays the piano as effortlessly as him. Not me, not even Tara, no body. This boy deserved to be celebrated. Who'd have thought someone as weird as Alex could have an heavenly side like this to him. "You don't have to. That was superb." He did an exaggerated Awwwwwnnn even though I could tell he probably get comments like this everytime. "Why Boulevard of Broken Dreams? That's a very old song. "

Love Under Fire

Love Under Fire

I exclaimed in a mocking tone. Our audience liked the two of us together so much that it was sickening. They were in love with the rich blonde Amber Morton and the young heartthrob actor with humble origins, but who had won the princess's heart, and now they formed an adorable couple example, lavishing their love on social media. They were so crazy about Kris and me together that they even wrote fan fiction about us.

An interesting start. I’m enjoying it so far. Don’t lose your way in the middle of the story though and rush things for people like me who are now invested. If so I will come back and give you half a star. Lol. But you are a great writer.

Thinking about this book... I love it so much, but compared to my first one, this one isn't getting a good audience, which makes me want to give up... but I'm going to keep writing because I just love this book

she continued, voice barely above the rain, “the only thing I was afraid of was never getting the chance to choose you again.” His chest tightened. “Lisa…!!” She reached for him then, fingers curling into the front of his shirt, not pulling him close….just anchoring herself. “I don’t want perfect,” she said. “I want honest. I want this—whatever this is—messy and real.” Grey rested his forehead against hers, breath mingling, rain blurring the space between them. “You have me,” he said. “No filters. No omissions. Even the parts I hate.”

Mga Madalas Itanong

I'm more drawn to fics that tackle the weird career purgatory after college. The movies end with them graduating, but what happens when Beca's a junior A&R person drowning in demo tapes and Chloe's stuck in a physical therapy job that's nothing like the energy of leading the Bellas? I love when a story puts them in different cities, maybe Beca in LA and Chloe in Chicago, and the plot is about them trying to coordinate a long-distance friendship that keeps tipping into something else during late-night phone calls. The tension comes from logistical nightmares and personal growth, not just will-they-won't-they.

A specific plot I adored had Chloe taking a surprise trip to visit, only to find Beca working all weekend, leaving Chloe to wander a city she doesn't know. It wasn't angsty in a dramatic way, just deeply lonely for both of them—Beca feeling guilty, Chloe feeling like an afterthought. The resolution wasn't a grand gesture, but Beca clearing her schedule for one entire, mundane Sunday. They went to a grocery store and cooked a terrible meal in Beca's tiny apartment. The romance was in the deliberate, carved-out time. That feels more authentic to their age and situation than another competition AU.

I'll admit I'm tired of the 'Beca gets injured and Chloe nurses her back to health' trope. It's overdone. I'd rather see Chloe have the crisis for once—maybe she burns out on her eternal sunshine persona—and Beca, who's socially awkward, has to figure out how to be the supportive one. That dynamic shift holds more potential for me.
