But when she discovers she's pregnant for Francis, she goes to inform him but catches him with another woman, Serene Kourtney, the female Alpha of the neighboring Berry Pack. When Diana discovers their affair, Francis cruelly rejects her, revealing he never loved her and only used her to fulfill his sexual desires. They both Diana, saying she was of lowly birth and would never amount to anything. Kourtney then orders Francis to kill Diana to prove his loyalty to her, and he brutally takes her life, disregarding the fact that she bore his child.
