We have to hit their outer command node first." ​"I'll divert their trace pingback into an infinite loop," I replied, executing a rapid sequence of terminal commands that rerouted their attacking data stream back through a recursive mirror network. "If Cassandra wants our data, she's going to choke on her own feedback loop." ​On the primary display, our counter-attack payload surged forward.

It's an elevator going up in order to escape the underlying lava. "READY? FIGHT!" and the battle begins. Our characters leap side-scrollingly across the screen. Being the noob among us, Noah charges at me first. I simiply negate the attack, and try to do a super basic counter-hit. Anthony then, dashes at me. If I'm playing as Low-Sero, Anthony's attack would've gotten severely countered. But, this time, I let him take the bite. "Humph.." he smirks. "This's gonna be easy!"

So I looked at the papers on the desk. "What are you working on," I said. "Counter-strategy," he said. "Two letters came in tonight from outside packs. Alliance communication." "How many packs now," I said. "Confirmed three," he said. "Two more in conversation." I processed that. "And Stonefall," I said. He looked at me. "How do you know about Stonefall." "I heard the name in the courtyard the morning after the claiming," I said. "One of the council members said it to another when they thought I was not close enough to hear. They said Stonefall was watching. I filed it."

For him, I had lost friends, given up my pride, my sense of self, and any chance of living a normal life. However, to him, I was just someone who would do anything for money. The countdown in my head was ticking away. Only 29 days and 23 hours to go. I took a deep breath, trying to ignore the ache in my heart. "Apologize? Ethan was so mad his face turned the color of storm clouds, and his chest started rising and falling like he could not breathe.

“Your restraint enabled this.” “Yes,” I agree. “And my interference would’ve accelerated it.” “Correct,” it says. “Outcome remains volatile.” I fold my arms. “So what’s your assessment?” A pause. Longer than before. “You are becoming a counterweight,” it says. “Not a center.” The silver warms faintly. “That was always the goal,” I replied. “Counterweights strain systems,” it warns. “They are resisted.” “I know,” I say softly. “That’s the point.”

, suddenly all eyes focus on the center, where a blue-masked man stands in front of a microphone. "All believers, attention!", it becomes so silent that a pin wouldn't dare drop to interrupt it. "We are gathered here today to discuss the Counterrevolution! In unity, we will reverse the New World!", he beamed, "Chant with me, my fellow believers, chant!", and with that I gasped so loud that if the blue-uniformed crowd had not been chanting, I would have been outed. Re-reverse the New World? Wh-what?!

She comforts me and I can feel her heart beating fast. "Anne, what's wrong? Were you scared because I talked to this stranger? I'm sorry I wasn't meant to make you upset I just wanted to apologize to him that I ran into him. I'm so sorry this won't happen again, I promise." Deniz moves away from me and smiles. She holds out her little finger. She wants to do the pinky promise. I can't hold my proud smile and give her my little finger. She smiles even more and hugs me right after. When Kerem appears he doesn't question anything. We just walk out and get a taxi.

Each attack went for his vitals. "Damn it!" Adrian felt frustrated. He realized that although he could handle the attacks, the relentless onslaught would become problematic over time. A sense of discomfort rose inside him. To counteract the assailant's mysterious tactics, he had to formulate a plan. And as Adrian was pretty extraordinary, he quickly devised a perfect countermeasure. “I'll make you submit!" Adrian's eyes flashed with determination. He summoned energy into his palm, intending to deliver a lethal blow to the elusive figure. Anticipating Adrian's intentions, the figure promptly backed off to create some distance. However, Adrian had learned from the previous encounter.
