Responsibility As A God Sparking Zero Novels & Stories

Like the calm before a storm. Hours seemed to pass by as I settled into an unconscious flight. I took my time to admire the beautiful landscape beneath me. The land of my people, my responsibility. They are asleep right now, and it is my responsibility to keep them safe. It is my responsibility to figure out how to show the gods that I am no threat to them. The weight of the universe seemed to rest on my shoulders and all I could think about was how to fix a problem that I should never have to face.
