He said roaming back forthright before bed while I am just sitting with bow down head hiding my tears from him. One word caught my attention, Grayson Wright. My brother is fine too. He's the one helping Dad. He’s taking care of the farm now. He used to be a security guard, but he got into a fight with a co-worker. Apparently, the guy said something disrespectful about me, so he lost it." "I would have done the same. Is he married yet?" I shook my head. "Girlfriend?"

I probed further, after he answered in the affirmative. “My father died a long time ago, and I grew up having my mother and Gri. Her father is dead as well. I have a younger brother, but he was lost at a young age. We found some traces of him ten years ago, but following that, he seemed to have wiped them out.”

“My whole family is… gone? I'm really alone!” The room was silent again. Numb. Mrs. Grimes turned her head away. Her hands twisted in her lap. Then slowly, almost mechanically, she turned her eyes, not to Orlanda, but to Oswald. Her voice trembled as she spoke next. “What I’m about to say now… will intrigue you, Oswald.” He raised his head, confused. Mrs. Grimes hesitated, then dropped the final bombshell: “Your sister was Sophia.” There was a pause.

“Do you think you could find my home now?” Glancing back at him I nodded and said, “Yeah, I'm pretty confident.” Reaching the top of the hill I was startled by Ethan grabbing me and pulling me into a tight bear hug. “Where were you? I was so worried after what happened,” he said roughly as I struggled to get out of his embrace. “She was with me, her protector,” Lennox huffed and glared at him. “What happened,” I asked, feeling his concern was genuine. “Jeremy Groves, younger brother, was found behind his house with his heart torn out,” he said firmly, and I gasped.

“I love them a lot. You look really happy to be there… So how about we plan a date there?” Walking back to his desk, Daniel eyed Mr. Briggs, and when he took a seat, he hesitated, and then he said, “Sorry to ask, but your son's last name is Grimes, so legally, you are turning all your properties and wealth to Grimes, not Briggs... Is that-” “It’s perfectly okay. His mother’s legacy deserves to live on and to continue,” Mr. Briggs reassured, giving a small sigh with a sad smile as he leaned forward on his palms.

Unfortunately, he was not. “Let’s get a drink from the bar!” Mr. Quigley suggested cheerfully. “Of course.” Graeme murmured, walking alongside Mr. Quigley to the area where the bar was. A few feet away, Graeme spotted someone that made his hackles rise. Paul Richards, Annette’s older brother, stood at the bar with some acquaintances with whom he was engaging in conversation with. At the sight of Paul, Graeme paused his stride. Questioningly, Mr. Quigley said, “Why are you stopping, Kincaid? You aren’t interested in getting a drink?”

And he told it to Grace whom he only met yesterday. I look at Michael and see him biting down on his bottom lip whilst closing the shelves. I feel really bad for him. It's really terrible to lose a sibling. Michael has suffered way more than I expected. I want to protect this boy at any cost.

With his older siblings, his lovely mom and like a hundred grandkids. I love every guy in my team and I do consider them my family, but Grayson was actually a brother to me in the most spiritual sense of the word and I would try to give him an organ if he ever needed one, just like I'm almost sure he would give me his or move the whole world to find me one. And… I completely ghosted him after my crash, along with everyone else. I even ghosted his family when they reached out asking if I was fine.
