Claws extended, I swiped at Roger, but he sidestepped and landed a solid blow to my chest. The impact sent me stumbling backward. Seizing the moment, Roger pinned me to the ground. His strength is on another whole different level entirely. "Your reign is over, Little Rascal," Roger sneered, his hot breath on my face. "The Whitewater pack will be free, and you will be the one enslaved in death." With a surge of adrenaline, I tried to break free, but Roger's grip was unyielding—his strength was overwhelming compared to mine. "You don't think you'll be able to defeat me, do you?" he asked, part of his face shifting into wolf form, just like mine.

One time, he encountered an accident during practice, which affected his appearance, so that was why he looked old. With his strength, however, no one dared to say that about him. After so many years, Rabbit was the first arrogant and domineering opponent he faced, and more importantly, he was just a monster beast. He had just been insulted by an animal. Thinking of this, Roger was furious. “Damn it, I'll turn you into a roast rabbit and eat you!” Roger roared angrily before making his move. He knew that Rabbit was strong, so he planned to deal with Rabbit first.

The brown-nut hair, the clear amber eyes, Roger's appearance reminded her of a childhood friend. If he had grown up, he might have looked just like the guy in front of her. Roger was handsome, wearing a black hoodie and wide-legged khaki pants, fitting perfectly on his 6'1" frame, looking both youthful and stylish. “Are you okay?” Roger asked, his tone quite relaxed, if you ignored his flushed ears.

The royals were still mingling and discussing when I finally spotted Roger. He was standing near the grand archway, speaking with another man, shaking hands. I didn’t stop to think. I ran straight into him, crashing into his chest. “Please, help me!” I gasped, gripping his arm like it was the only thing keeping me. “They’ll find me! Please!” Roger growled fiercely and drew me behind him, his hair was on end and his teeth began to elongated. I could see the signs of his transformation. “What’s going on?” he growled wildly, “Who’s after you?”

I taunted with a hint of smugness, "But you and your wolf were unable to let go so you must be turning rogue. Is that why you want to kill Maisie? For ruining your worthless life?" "SHUT THE HELL UP!" Roger emerged from the kitchen with a deafening roar as he threw another knife without a second thought. However, he didn't seem to anticipate my change of location as I had expected so I lunged at him with my fists swinging. My knuckles collided with his jaw as soon as he turned, causing him to stagger a bit before he countered with a knee to my gut.

If I wasn’t careful, I’d be stuck in the forest when the sun went down. My gelding’s name was Roger. It wasn’t a name that I would have given him, but it was the name that he came with and that he responded to, so I didn’t change it. Roger was jet black with a white star on his forehead. He stood sixteen and a half hands high with powerful, well-defined flanks. Had he been human, he would have easily been taken for a body builder.
