Roger’s pupils shrunk after hearing those words. Harvey was right, after all. If he really had the ability to dish out attacks faster than the crowd could see… Then he must’ve been stronger than what everyone initially thought. If that was the case, Teo wasn’t worthy enough to be countered. Thinking this, Roger started to get embarrassed. But since Teo was like a brother to him, Roger couldn’t let Harvey go that easily, especially when Teo had suffered a broken arm. He slowly stood up, and glared at Harvey.

Roger lowered his voice. "Try listening." Ryan is a little interested. Roger tensed. "If you let me leave Moon Mountain, I'll join Erza and Evelyn's team, protect her from danger and help her through the ordeal." I glanced at Ryan's expression; he nodded, pretending he heard. Although the term is honest, the words have nothing to do with the actions. "That's all?" Roger was surprised, frowning. "Isn't that enough?" Then I heard him muttering. “I thought he had to nod immediately.”

“But hey, let’s just say I’ve got absolutely nothing going on anyway.” Roger’s gaze softened as he looked at his daughter. “Well, if you’re up for it, who am I to say no?” A glimmer of joy sparked in his eyes. “Maybe having you on board wouldn’t be half bad after all. And if this is what you truly want to do, perhaps I should stop playing my little trick.” Carmen furrowed her brow. “What trick?” Roger chuckled, ducking his head as he turned around to wipe the counter. “Messing with your alarm clock, of course.”

{ Daisy } I walk into the house with my arms full. The first person who comes to my aid is Roger. "Thanks, buddy," I say when he grabs the biggest basket, "I always think I'm stronger than I am." "You're strong, just not very graceful," he answers with a laugh as we walk into the kitchen. Halfway through his shift, a face he dreaded stepped into the diner. “Hey honey bunny” Rabbit rolled his eyes,”for the last time, my name is Rabbit” “Whatever you say bunny bun” “Chris, leave Angel alone!” Margret poked her head out, warning her son. Chris, Margret’s son and Rabbit’s ex-boyfriend. “Ma, I’m heading to work soon, I’ll like the number 5 to go” “Okay!” Margret disappeared behind the bead curtains, leaving them to themselves and a bunch of hungry customers eating to their fill.

The tabby’s eyes glinted with dry amusement. “You mean the hunt for the dragon prince’s—” began a scruffy grey cockatoo perched above, but the cat shot it a glare. “Yeah, yeah, you get the point. No need spellin’ it out, feather-brains. Use yer head, will ya?” A hoarse, wheezy laugh erupted from a balding rabbit still stuck in its cage. Its mangy brown fur stood in strange patches, as though bitten off by disease, or worse.

Claws extended, I swiped at Roger, but he sidestepped and landed a solid blow to my chest. The impact sent me stumbling backward. Seizing the moment, Roger pinned me to the ground. His strength is on another whole different level entirely. "Your reign is over, Little Rascal," Roger sneered, his hot breath on my face. "The Whitewater pack will be free, and you will be the one enslaved in death." With a surge of adrenaline, I tried to break free, but Roger's grip was unyielding—his strength was overwhelming compared to mine. "You don't think you'll be able to defeat me, do you?" he asked, part of his face shifting into wolf form, just like mine.
