Sleep With Me, Dear Husband

Sleep With Me, Dear Husband

“You can’t just show up like this.” “Why not?” she asked, glancing up at him with a small smile. “We’re still married, aren’t we?” Kenzo’s lips pressed into a thin line. “That’s debatable.” She ignored the remark and gestured toward the table. “Come eat before it gets cold.” After a long moment, he sat down, more out of curiosity than anything else. They ate in silence at first, the tension between them thick. Helena finally broke it. “Do you remember that time we got caught in the rain on our honeymoon?”

Vanished for Three Years, I Returned as a Dad

Vanished for Three Years, I Returned as a Dad

She was always convinced that my love for her was insufficient. As I watched her retreating figure, a pain settled in my chest. Jenny kept provoking conflict between Ellie and me, and I wanted nothing more than for her to disappear forever. … When I returned home that night, I paused in front of the wedding photo on the wall and found myself staring at it. Ellie's eyes in the photo were full of love, while my own expression looked restrained and distant. Our marriage was a marriage of convenience, and back then, I had jumped into it on impulse. But over the years we spent together, I had fallen for her, slow and sure.

Married to the Enemy CEO

Married to the Enemy CEO

“Mr. King, Mrs. King—how did you two meet?” “What’s married life like so far?” “Some say this is a marriage of convenience. What do you have to say to those rumors?” Roman tightened his grip on my waist, drawing me to his chest like we were carved from the same stone. His smile was smooth, practiced. “We met the way most couples do—by chance. And we chose each other.” My lips curved in something that resembled a smile. Lies. He looked down at me, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes, before facing the cameras again. “And as for the rumors, my wife is not a convenience. She’s my choice. My only choice.”

ONE YEAR CONTRACT : MARRIED TO A COLD STRANGER BILLIONAIRE

ONE YEAR CONTRACT : MARRIED TO A COLD STRANGER BILLIONAIRE

“Unless it’s a miracle lottery win, I don’t think anything can fix this.” Emma leaned forward, voice dropping. “There’s this new government program called the One-Year Marriage Incentive Scheme. Couples who sign a legal one-year marriage contract and live together get a huge one-time payment — enough to cover major medical bills and clear heavy debts. After twelve months, you can walk away free.” Abby froze. “Marry a stranger for money?”

Marriage of Convenience and nothing more

Marriage of Convenience and nothing more

He handed it to me and flopped onto the couch like he had no care in the world. I opened the envelope and scanned the front page. MARRIAGE CONTRACT. I looked up at him, stunned. “Are you serious?” His face was unreadable. “In there are the terms. My expectations. The dos and don’ts. Rules of this marriage.” The words stung more than I thought they would. “This was supposed to be simple,” I whispered. “Fake, yeah, but simple.” Jason’s eyes met mine. “It is simple. Just business, Nelly. That’s all.”

Marriage For Convenience

Marriage For Convenience

She was out of her trance when she remembered to check the paper before she could finally move on to the next page of her life, but her eyes almost got out when she saw what he had changed. "CASPIAN ANDREW ARDIENTE! WHAT’S THE MEANING OF THIS?!" She shrieked at him. He was grinning while staring at his wife, who was standing at the doorway, with a furious expression on her face. She took a few steps and went to face him, "what is this?" She was enraged and showed the document to his face. "Can’t you understand a simple language? My heart aches to know that my parents agreed to marry an illiterate woman like you," he mocked.

I enjoyed the book even with the errors, however, I would love to help with that being a retired secretary that knows what it must be like trying to write under pressure. Hit me up, and I can help with the errors. The story was costly being a retired woman, but I loved the ending.

Just started this long asian novel (read7%). The story is interesting although the FL is dramatic and always overreacting. The chapters are too short so I'm still not sure where the story is going other than that they're newlyweds who are getting to know each other. Not sure if I'll finish.

DREAMING OF MR. STARR

DREAMING OF MR. STARR

“Being married to you may not be so bad, you know? You felt quite good in my arms last night, and when I kissed you on Friday, I wouldn't say we disliked each other.” “What are you saying? You mean…” she paused for breath. “You mean you would expect… expect a normal marriage?” Declan gave a mocking smile. “You've been reading too many romance novels, darling. Marriages of convenience don't happen nowadays. Or if they do, they certainly have a physical side. I wouldn't marry any woman just to look at her,” he scorned. “But it would be very convenient for you, wouldn't it?” Gemma queried softly. Grey eyes narrowed to steely slits.

His Substitute Bride

His Substitute Bride

“We’re merely keeping up appearances. The man that forced Finn into this marriage has been sniffing around, and Finn thinks he suspects the marriage isn't real.” Crossing her arms on her chest, she said, “So you’re saying all this drama is just to fool a businessman?” “That’s the deal.” “That’s stupid,” she snapped. “You two have fire, the chemistry and the spark of a real couple. You can’t fake that even if you tried.” Looking down at my hands, I let out a low sigh. I didn’t want to admit it but deep down, I knew she was right. There was something between us but something real didn’t come with an expiration date.
