Glancing at the screen, he smiled. "It’s Mom," he said, holding up the phone. "She’s asking about you—wondering if we’ve made up yet," he added with a soft chuckle. How much she cried to her father to save her mom but he simply walked away saying it was useless to spend on a person who was already meant to die. Anna could not do anything for her mother. All she did to embrace her tightly and see her suffering. Then one day her mom was released from the pain. She died in Anna's hand smiling weakly at her. Anna begged everyone hugging her mom's cold body to save her but nothing worked that day. She was standing alone to say farewell to her mother. Her dad was busy with his conference. A tear fell on the cheek making Anna come to reality. Anna wiped away when the taxi stopped.

He just grinned and winked at me before walking away with my mom and the nurse in tow. I turned to Mrs. Bukly, and she was actually smirking at my mom. I walked in alongside them, and we made our way to our booth, setting up our stuff and then Mom’s pies. “Hmmm, I didn’t think you’d make it here, Mrs. Russell,” Mrs. Bukly spoke from behind us, and my mom instinctively frowned. “Why wouldn’t I? This is something I do to support my community,” Mom spoke as she turned her wheelchair with a tight smile on her face.
