She took a deep breath, staring into the branches burning crackling under the fire, as someone added more of them “The tale of the two brothers starts from the legends of Sahmal, the old ruins that lie far away from this village. But...today, I shall not be repeating the old stories. I shall be adding to them more elements...to the entire fable! We all know about the white-hearted Maxwell, and the vengeful brother Boris. However, the stories that we have received so far, are only half-baked. We keep hearing that Maxwell ventured into this valley, and set up a small tribe in Sahmal. He ruled peacefully with his people until Boris’s betrayal.

Paul interrupted him. “Attack him!” Max shouted in annoyance. The Samurai's with Max started running towards Paul. Paul quickly made his sword touch one of the immortals Samurai with the sharp edge of the sword which made him visible. “Kill everyone except the one I spoke too.” He ordered. The Samurai he had released nodded his head and ran towards the other Samurai's. He was very fast and before one could count up to 3, all the Samurai's lay on the ground in pieces. Max stood alone now and was surprised when he saw his comrades in pieces. Who ever this new Samurai is, he was dangerous. He turned to run away at least to escape and tell Philly what he saw when he saw Paul standing behind him.

I’ve been trying to mindlink you.” “I’ve been busy focusing on work.” “I need to tell you something.” I sigh. “What is it, Sam?” “Alpha Maxwell, when I tell you this, I need you to hear me out.” He steps towards my desk, and I lean back in my chair, already losing patience. “I know this is going to sound crazy, but you need to believe me.”

Trevor was a little surprised at first, but then grinned back, "Yeah Max ... how did you know?" "I'm pregnant," Sam says. She curls up into a little ball and cries with her head in her lap.

You can call the pack and tell them to come in 30 minutes.” “Yes, Alpha,” Sam responds, always the loyal soldier. “Sam, please, when it’s just us, call me Max. We are family after all” “No can do Alpha, I called your father Alpha all my life and I will do the same for you.” “Disobeying my commands already?” I reply with a snort. “Nice try, but your old man also tried that, you are my Alpha and that is what I will call you.
