With a sigh, Talia dropped the book on the table and slipped out of the bed. Upon getting to the window, she closed the window just when the storm and rumbling was increasing and the wind intensified. At that moment, the lights went off and the room became pitch dark. She squinted, barely able to see anything. "Oh no" she whispered under her breath. She stretched out her arms in the dark, trying to locate her bed when she heard a soft whimper from Damon's bed. "Sage? Are you there?" "Yes, I'm here" she responded, still trying to get to her bed, but she stumbled against a stool and fell.

They lived in this huge bubble, not knowing – or caring – about people like us. My own life felt like two separate books. One was Maeve Briggs, high school senior, trying to keep up her grades and pretend everything was normal. I wasn't going to complain. I sat cross-legged and pulled my silk shorts down. They got on very easily. I put on a sweatshirt and let my hair hang down over my shoulder. Cami mimicked my posture and hit play. How I liked Twilight. Cami had not seen me that had seemed a sacrilege, so practically had dragged her. Food was brought to us and we gobbled it down watching Robert Pattinson. I don't know how we ended up doing a marathon of the entire saga. In Breaking Dawn Part 1 I had convinced Cami that Taylor Lautner was the prototype man of my life. She adopted him too.

Hannah stated. Carlo was Hannah’s boyfriend, and they lived together like a couple. Twilight couldn't go back to her old apartment—she knew he would find her. A knock interrupted their conversation. Hannah rose from the bed and went to open the door while Twilight shifted her focus back to her studies. “I need to see Twilight.” Twilight froze at the familiar deep voice. Oh God. “Twilight?” Hannah flashed her a teasing smile. “A handsome man is here looking for you.” Twilight bit her lip, taking a deep breath before standing and approaching the door.
