His eyes which should be the color of milk chocolate with Samson forward are closer to the color of dark chocolate because of his fury.
When he doesn’t answer, I put my hand on his cheek. “Samson, trust me,” I say quietly.
His eyes focus on me and he nods.
I turn back and begin walking through the crowd, swirling my bourbon as I go.
“I know most of you don’t know much about other supernaturals. You certainly know nothing about the fae, very little if anything about vampires, and you obviously don’t know anything about Guardians,” I say, lifting the glass and taking a sip.
