Season 2 The Librarians Novels & Stories

"Damn!! Is this the end of season 1?" I brushed my face out of irritation with the pillow beside me as I complained about the novel I like. It was a popular novel called 'The Angel They Adored'. The plot is exciting but sadly, they'll start season 2 next year so to make it short, it's on hiatus.

Beatrice turned to Patience, her friend shrugging her shoulders in a bemused fashion. ‘Now what?’ Beatrice asked as the audience began to thin out. ‘Hope you’re hungry,’ Patience said spotting Marcus moving towards them with a tray of food. ‘This is where we find if you’ve got socks as well as canapés for lunch.’ *** The atmosphere in the library was oppressive. Lucas and Elmo had arrived with a degree of excitement, but the sullen nature of the four adults standing in the reception area soon curbed their enthusiastic chatter. ‘What the hell happened to the Historical Fiction section?’ Lucas said as he saw the bookcases pulled askew. ‘You had a tornado pass through here, Agnes?’

It calls to their wolves, promises protection they've never known. Morgan's study occupied the entire third floor, accessible only by a spiral staircase warded so heavily Elena's skin tingled. The space was part library, part laboratory, part sanctuary…books lining two walls, monitors displaying data on another, and a meditation area overlooking the valley. "Sit." Morgan gestured to chairs arranged around a low table. "Jake, there's coffee in the kitchen. Give us an hour." Jake bristled at the dismissal, but Elena nodded. "Please. I'll be fine."

Monday felt weird. No alarm from the lawyer. No 6AM call about a deposition. No security guy trailing us to the coffee shop. Just coffee. Toast. And Damian in sweatpants trying to fix the printer. This is boring, he said. Good, I said. --- We threw ourselves into the library. Shelves that wobbled got fixed. The kids section got new bean bags. We painted the back wall yellow because Lila said libraries should be sunny. No press release.

I also sought answers since I was becoming more concerned about Veyron and Darius's involvement in my demise. The gold-embossed titles of leather-bound books faded with time as my fingertips traced along their spines. Selena's silent but urgent call for prudence blended with Lucas's cryptic warnings about treachery in my head. So far, none of it made sense. I was determined to put it all together, however. --- Tucked down in the library's furthest corner was the section I was looking for. It was identified as the Lunaris Chronicles by faded labeling. These shelves were loaded with tales of the Moon Goddess, long-forgotten festivals, and ancient rituals.

An old voice coming from behind made everyone looked. It was the librarian, and the librarian's hands were slowly coming down. Now they know who blown away the Second Princess. Soheila was prepared to catch the slapping hands of the Second Princess, but it spoiled her plan when the librarian came. Nevertheless, it is still fine. “Your Highness, please get up, it's embarrassing.” A student whose with the Second Princess whispered. “Hey, you had the guts to attack me! My father will punish you! You fucker!” the Second Princess shouted after she got up. Not minding herself, she directly gazed angrily at the librarian. Her hair was messy that made her look like a witch.

"The ship’s breaking up." June looked at the ruined Library, the shards, the mess. This room held the truth of her family—their shame, their greed, and their blood. "Wait," Hope said. She stepped up, picked up the two halves of the leaden key, and placed them in the oven. "The debt is paid," she said. "But the Library stays. Let it be a moon for the new world—a warning, not a weapon." "She’s right," June said. They scrambled for the pod. Dante secured Hope first, then June. The Auditor dove in last, clutching a crumbling recipe book. Through the window, June watched their marble tomb shrink in the starlight.

It was almost mid-day. The bell would be heard soon. Mrs. Letty walked in hurry with a rolled parchment in her hand. Since the truce had been settled, many scholars granted an access to the forbidden section by the Elder. As a librarian, it was her duty to assist them. It should be a busy time for both Lucas and her. But it turned out just her busy time. She didn’t see Lucas since he went out to pick up the books and parchments from the only school in town.

My mind is racing with different thoughts – where is Jason , and is Nicole with him? I finally get up to our level and I slowly walk in the abandoned hall way. Its so silent , except the light chattering I could hear from the hall. I continue to walk until I hear two voices. I can not hear what they say , but all I know is that the voices belong to Jason and Nicole - and that is coming from his office which is at the end of the passage. I slowly walk towards the office , trying to make out what they are saying. As I come near the office , I noticed that they are not speaking any more. I am one step away from the open door , and when I peep inside… …My entire world comes crashing down…

“If buddy picks me up he will certainly throw an interrogation and you know I cannot hide anything from him.” “Okay! Fine! Bye! Take care of yourself,” she said, and began to walk. “Best of luck, Prisha! Fighting!” saying out in haste, Tarry ran after her. When they were disappearing from my sight, I heard Kristen grumbling, “What fighting? She is not going to war. And what is that best of luck? She is getting detention, not a monthly test!” Wondering where their fight would end, I stepped inside the library. The librarian, who was busy typing something on her computer, sensed my presence and took a second to glance at me with a grin.
