Changing The Princess's Fate

"Damn!! Is this the end of season 1?" I brushed my face out of irritation with the pillow beside me as I complained about the novel I  like. It was a popular novel called 'The Angel They Adored'. The plot is exciting but sadly, they'll start season 2 next year so to make it short, it's on hiatus.

The heroine of this novel is really kind causing lots of love interests to fall for her unconditionally. That being said, women who hates her are also present in this story and one of those is the villainess, Princess Lalaine Ledecia. She was a very devious woman and she hates it whenever the female lead would get adored by everybody

I hated her.

She'll always do evil deeds to hurt the people. Her inferiority complex is really top notch to the point where she even commited a lot of unforgivable crimes

That's what I thought before reading her point of view.

In the latest chapter of the novel, for the first time, the villainess reminisced her life while dying at the hands of his long-time love, Duke Finniell.

Princess Lalaine was the only daughter of the current emperor, Maxilla Ledecia, and the late empress, Elaine Ledecia.

Empress Elaine Ledecia formerly known as Elaine Villadona was a princess of an allied kingdom Helliporña Kingdom. She was loved by the emperor so much but sadly, she died while giving birth to her daughter causing the emperor to despise Lalaine.

All in her life, she never received a single warm look from her father. She was even neglected in a rusty palace with only two maids and no knight to protect her.

It was a truly a sad life.

A daughter who only wishes a little attention from a father but never granted even once.

And so when she turned 6, she was placed in a better palace and was taught by top teachers on the continent. And thinking that her father finally loved and acknowledged her, she hurriedly went to hug the emperor. But in contrast to what she expected, the emperor was furious by what she did so she was sent to prison and stayed there for 3 months.

At that moment, the girl who only wants a single attention and love changed into a devious princess.

I lie down once again and think about how hard is it to stay in a prison for a six years old girl not to mention, it was the father who sent the her to that place.

Since I was an orphan, I know how it feels to live by myself. But in the case of the princess, she has a family, but he never acted like one and even caused her to suffer more.

I know it was harder.

"Why did I even exist if all I'll feel is pain" I utter the last words that she said in the novel.

And I can feel her sadness and pains by just reading those words.

*Tok Tok*

"I'm coming" My thoughts were paused when I heard a knock coming from the door of this apartment.

"Delivery from Lily's Shop!" Realizing the fact that I never ordered anything from the foreign shop, I tried to deny the delivery

"Oh sorry? but I didn't---" But as I slowly opened the door, a man who's holding a knife attacked me

I can feel it piercing through my stomach

It hurts. 

"W-what is" A tear escaped my eyes

  Is this the end of my unhappy life? I'll die just like the villainess in the novel without accomplishing a joyful life?

Once again, I remembered how similar our life is.

"We are truly an unfortunate people, princess"

Maybe this is the end of my life.

I smiled once again before losing consciousness. If only I treasured my life more, I won't have any regrets.

If God would give me a chance for a new life, I'll definitely live it Joyfully  but I know, that'll never happen.

How sad...
