There was also some other things with funny shapes ones I didn't even want to know where they went. I held the golden balls in my hand and wondered what they were for. Some of the things in here I have seen at th club and the others where just a mystery to me, I saw things I didn't even know existed. There was other things on the shelf below but I had seen enough. There was also a bookshelf with actual books in them. I took the first book I saw and read out the title, it was a book by Shayla Black called Wicked Ties. I had never even heard of the author. It glowed when in contact with my hands. I feel like the necklace is mine because the scythe was also glowing. I took the scythe and looked as it shines so bright. I let out a gasp when the scythe transformed into a round object. Then I noticed the cover of the book, it has a hole round shape in it and an anchor then ship wheel in it.

I murmured, wiping it clean with a tissue. The book was bound in black leather, its cover adorned with a golden chain that resembled shackles. It exuded an air of mystery and darkness. Curiosity piqued, I traced my fingers along the intricate chains. Swallowing hard, I attempted to read the title, but the words were unfamiliar. Flipping it open, I was met with pages filled with an unrecognizable language. I tried to decipher it, even searching online for clues, but nothing matched. As I flipped through the pages, my attention was drawn to a small bookmark tucked inside. Someone had been reading this.

This felt like it was vibrating on the page and she could not help but touch it. A light electric shock struck her hand and a warning appeared on the page, “This book is meant for the eyes of the Holy Clan. None but those whom are members of the clan may read this book. Great protections shroud this book and anyone defying this requirement will find themselves turned to stone.”

Zara stood in the dark alley behind the diner,the ground was wet from the rain, and the air smelled like old garbage.
