Shatter Mirror Mga Nobela at Kwento

she asks quickly, eyes searching Lumina’s pale face. Lumina doesn’t answer right away. Her chest rises and falls slowly as she crouches, picking up one of the shards. It’s ice cold. “Blood,” she murmurs. “A woman, she feels familiar… A baby… fire…” Her voice trails off. Bianca frowns. “That’s it?” “The mirror shattered before I could see more.” “Why?” Bianca snaps. “Why would it do that?” Lumina doesn’t know. She’s never heard of the mirror breaking — not even in the oldest texts. She sits down slowly, palms pressed to her thighs as her eyes drift back to the cracked obsidian on the floor.

Standing side by side. Silver currents flowing between us. Not violent. Stable. Clean. “You see?” she asks quietly. “This is what you are.” “That’s not real.” “It could be.” I clench my jaw. “You don’t get to define me.” “I’m not defining you. I’m showing you potential.” The image shifts. The silver current grows stronger. Then— The world fractures. The mirror cracks. The image destabilizes. The silver light flickers violently. And the reflection explodes into shards.

“What’s happening?” A splintering, crackling echo bounces from wall to wall. I open my eyes as wind begins to whip my hair into a frenzy. The mirror–the ancient, Shadowsynger mirror, shatters, creating a void of… nothing. Nothing and everything. The beginning and the end. “Maeve!” Logan shouts over the chaos as my power booms and thrums. Debris skitters from the ceiling, crashing to the ground as bricks of stone begin to crack, bouncing and rolling down at our feet.

I said. She didn't answer. She just stared back at me with those broken eyes, mocking me. She was a twisted reflection of everything I'd lost and everything I'd let touch me. Killian, Vincent. All of it. Tears blurred my vision. My fingers clenched tighter around the glass. I raised it without thinking and hauled it at the silver surface of the mirror. The glass shattered against the mirror, several shards scattering on the floor. Cracks spiderwebbed through the silver surface, slicing through my reflection until it was in pieces. Like me.

I mutter. The mirror pulses a violent red. The heating elements are failing, the glass spider-webbing under the thermal stress. C-O-M-P-R-O-M-I-S-E-D. One final sentence scrolls across the bottom before the glass shatters into a thousand glittery shards. O-N-E G-U-A-R-D I-S N-O-T H-I-S. I drop to a crouch as the glass rains down. I don't feel the shallow cuts on my shoulders. I'm staring at the empty frame.

“Then how do I break it?” The reflection stepped closer. “You don’t.” “Why?” “Because if you shatter the mirror, you shatter yourself.” The words fell heavy between them. Serenya stared down at her reflection — the true one, faint and fragile on the glass — and saw cracks forming along the surface beneath her feet. The world trembled. The light above dimmed, bleeding into shadow. From far away, Kaelen’s voice broke through — faint, desperate. Serenya! Come back to me!

Blood smears the surface, distorting my face. Lovely. I grab the mirror by its frame, ignoring the scream of protest in my bones. Muscles strain. And then, with a cry, I hurl it across the room. It crashes against the wall, shattering into a thousand jagged shards. Pieces rain down like broken stars, scattering across the floor. But it’s not enough. It’s not enough.

Fast-paced heavy metal-type chords thump my veins, the live sound of the music taking my breath away. My queue to come in is signaled by London who lets out a deep roar. Being a call-and-response song it was by far one of my favorites from Crash Course Rebellion and now I get to live it. I sing the melody, Jackie is in harmony and London's note is a growl. ~ "I can't fight it!" London and Jackie:"I can't fight it!" "There's a feeling deep inside when I look into the eyes of the monster!" "I see through it!" London and Jackie: "I see through the facade!"

If he is her mate, then he would surely reject them seeing how ruined and disgusting she was. “Alice! Don't say that. The scars mean nothing. He is meant for us.” Lenore snapped at her. “Alice yelled out loud; as she slammed her fist into the mirror. The glass cracked and shattered but held inside the mirror frame. She looked at the mirror surprised that she had hit it. Surprised that it was still intact. She looked at the mirror and hated it. The mirror was broken but still together. It could never be fixed but it was still together. She gritted her teeth, becoming more and more angry. She was the mirror, damaged, broken, ugly, and never being completely shattered but never being able to be

And a sinister smile. My voice is caught in my throat as I stare back unblinking, horrifically rooted on the spot and shaken to my bones. And then– The mirror shatters and I let out a scream.
