Lena's POV The weakness started small. Missed a step on the stairs. Stumbled. Caught myself on the railing. Blame it on being tired. On not sleeping enough. On the stress of everything falling apart around us. But I knew better. I could feel it. The drain. Like someone had opened a tap somewhere inside me and my power was slowly leaking out. Drop by drop. Steady. Unstoppable. Tormund's warning echoed in my head. Every time you use power to help him it costs you. Your containment is breaking down.

The spikes made out of dirt had vanished like they weren't there in the first place. "Strong magic comes with strong imagination. Strong imagination comes with strong mentality. If you are easy to panic or your mind is clouded, you are—" Morris acted liked she got her throat slashed, and it wouldn't take a smartass to understand that. "Sometimes, emotions can also triggers our powers but it usually ends up a disaster. Only strong persons would be able to handle their powers if it suddenly explode by uncontrolled feelings. Anyways, you try it. Maybe try what I did or something similar to that."

What is wrong with me? He touched his cheek with his hand brought it down. He took his eyes up at me an I felt a wave of lightening flow through my spine. The look in his eyes could kill. They were fire itself and it pierced into mine. Am so dead. I took a step back and lost my balance. I fell backwards and closed my eyes in fright waiting to feel the brooding pain that followed but then...nothing. I opened my eyes and realized he caught me. Aww. He made me get back on my feet still holding onto me.

” Jeje said. ‘very. Even they could overwhelm me who used Harasa in minutes, no seconds. They can maximize their power to be that strong. It proves that I am still weak.” Alfi clenches both of his hands as he is pissed off by the fact. ”I am so naive, eh? To think I can defeat anyone with this power by just imagining things and attack. I even didn’t aware that I could be defeated like that pathetic.” Alfi is downcast mourning his sorrow.

I would abide by his request, stay within the safety of our sanctuary, but my heart burned with the desire to make a difference, to bring an end to the chaos that threatened us all. I felt the weight of my own weakness pressing down on me, a suffocating force that seemed to drain the very essence of my being. Every movement, every breath, felt like a monumental effort, as if my body had been drained of its vitality. Weakness seeped through my veins, an insidious presence that refused to be ignored.

It made her itch from the inside, her whole body tingling, like being electrocuted, completely powerless. "This is bizarre." Gideon frowned in confusion. He couldn't pinpoint the cause. It was like Miranda was just born this fragile. It was completely unnatural. "Can't figure it out, right? I knew that'd happen. My father had all kinds of doctors look at me, and none of them found anything. This is just how I am. I'm born like this. "God is fair. I was given exceptional talent in mental power, but in return, I lost out on physical strength. I've come to terms with it."

I was thankful for that. We needed to end this now because he was slowly weakening me with each attack that landed. Even though his godly magic was nullified, it did not mean he was unable to fight me. He had already shown me his biggest weakness – his ego. He was just like any other person who thought to highly of themselves. He believed that he was the best thing since sliced bread and that everyone else was lesser than him and unworthy of even breathing the same air.

On many days, I wanted out. It was a sad story, one that spoke of my weakness. I'd lost every bit of strength over the years. It can’t be healthy. You should go to the infirmary and get checked out.”
