Shatter Mirror Novels & Stories

The mirror shattered with a whisper. Not a crash. Not a scream. Just a soft, breathless exhale—as though time itself sighed through the glass. Zara stood frozen, bare feet rooted to the cracked marble. She hadn't meant to touch it. The mirror had sat untouched for decades in the southern sanctum, framed by the bones of old wolf-queens and the sigils of vanished bloodlines. No reflection had lived inside it since her mother's death. But now, as the final shard fell to the floor, the silver within rippled.

Then Isla walked up to the wall-sized mirror—an old interrogation remnant—and pressed her palm against it. Her reflection looked back at her with too many eyes. Hers—and Lyra’s. “I want to break it,” she whispered. Christopher stepped up beside her. “Then break it.” She looked at him. “Go ahead,” he said, voice steady. “Shatter it. And then we start from what’s real.” A trembling breath. Then she balled her fist, drew back— And drove it into the mirror. Glass exploded. Shards scattered across the floor like truth finally given form.

The shattering of the mirrors did not bring silence; it brought a deafening, harmonic resonance that vibrated through the very marrow of Cattleya”s bones. Each shard of glass, suspended in the air by the force of the energy she had unleashed, began to rotate, spinning like a miniature, razor-edged turbine.

It was Nadia. “You abandoned me,” the reflection said. “I had to change. I had to survive,” Iris replied. “You lost more than you gained,” Nadia whispered. “And now, what remains?” The mirror cracked. “I am both,” Iris said. “And I am neither. I am what this world needs.” The mirror shattered into six shards that floated toward her. They burned as they touched her skin, fusing with her tri-mark. Her mark glowed blindingly. Outside, the chamber shook. The second door flared with light.

Just a thin line at first, spidering outward from the centre. I sucked in a breath, scrambling backward on the tiles. "I didn't—" My voice shook. "I didn't do anything." The hum spiked. The crack spread, glass shuddering violently before the entire mirror shattered—not outward, but inward, collapsing into itself as if pulled by invisible hands. Shards hovered in the air. Suspended. Every piece gleamed, frozen mid-fall, trembling like they were caught in the breath before a scream. My heart slammed against my ribs.

This was the man who had caused her suffering, the man he despised. In a fit of rage, he struck the wall mirror, shattering it into a thousand pieces that glittered like fallen stars. The resounding crash echoed through the empty room as his fists pummeled the shards, each blow drawing fresh blood. The fragmented reflections painted a portrait of his shattered soul, mingling with the crimson streaks marking his path of destruction.

Her reflection stared back. Becky leaned closer, eyes narrowing. The woman in the mirror leaned closer too, lips parting. For a second—just a second—Becky thought she saw water bead along the reflection’s hairline. Thought she saw silver light flicker beneath the skin. She screamed. With a violent motion, she ripped the mirror from the wall. Glass shattered as it hit the floor, shards exploding outward. Becky stumbled back, chest heaving, staring at the broken pieces scattered at her feet. Each fragment reflected her face at a different angle—twisted, fractured, multiplied.

Then she appeared — the true witch, smiling from the other side of the glass. “You played well tonight,” she purred. My lips moved in perfect sync. “It’s only the beginning.” The mirror shattered. The shards glowed gold, each piece reflecting my smile — a dozen wicked grins staring back at me from the floor. And in the smallest shard, for just an instant, Ember’s eyes looked out — terrified, fading, whispering for help before the fire swallowed her whole.

she added as she smash the crack mirror into fragment! The reflection have long been weak and can only stare blankly at the woman. The broken pieces of the mirror is thrown into the window and is disapear to the darkest fog that is somehow flickering dimly. “Gone, my dear, and be greatful your body conceive with my help!” Her laughter vibrated out to the deepest of the darkness, and the bloody eyes slowly open their eyes.

### The Fracture A sound like a thousand windows breaking echoed through the Void. I looked up. A crack had appeared in the center of Silas’s violet sky. A single drop of pure, blinding white light leaked through, falling like a diamond tear toward the ruined city below. Where it hit a building, the smoke-matter instantly vanished, leaving a hole of absolute nothingness. "The Mirror is failing!" Sarah cried. She was huddled near the base of the Spire, her Anchor-light flickering. "Elara, the Architects are pushing through! They’re using the Seed to pull the Mirror apart!"
