Shinobi Rogue Lineage Novels & Stories

I give my gun to Bailey, and tell her, "I'm going to turn!" "Haden, no!" she screams, but it's too late. The transformation takes over me, ending at a record speed, and suddenly I can see everything as if it's as bright as the day. Without wasting a second, I pounce at the rogue wolf. Rogues are often bloodthirsty, so that makes their focus and skill decrease exponentially. We claw and bite at each other, him trying to draw my blood out. I take that as an advantage and bite him in all the right places. But this rogue is strong, and his fur is quite thick. I can't sink my teeth into his hide. He must be an old rogue because new ones are easier to defeat.

“You take the right flank. I’ll handle the altar.” She hesitated for a fraction of a second before nodding. “Be careful.” --- The battle was swift and brutal. The rogues fought with desperation, their movements fueled by the corrupting influence of the artifact. But our training had paid off, and our warriors held their ground. I reached the altar just as one of the rogues began chanting in a guttural language. The shard pulsed brighter, the light searing against my eyes. “No, you don’t,” I growled, lunging forward. My claws slashed through the rogue’s throat, silencing the chant, but the shard’s glow didn’t fade.

They scatter like shadows at sunrise, vanishing into the tree line, but not fast enough. I quickly open a mind link to all my present worriors and Ronan. "Don’t let them all go. I want one alive. We need answers." I command, my voice sharp and cold as iron. The worriors fan out, moving as one. Ronan is already cutting off the path of one of the rogues, herding him back towards us. I move in from the other side, fast, deliberate. The rogue Lycan snarls, teeth bared, but he sees what we are, who we are.

It yelps, thrashing, and I grab its neck, twisting hard until I hear the crack of its spine. Henry is beside me, a constant, steady presence. Together, we guard Zach and Mara as the others flank around us. Every movement is instinctive now—strike, pivot, slice. My arms are burning, my muscles trembling, but I keep going. There’s no time to rest. A massive rogue breaks through the line—a hulking beast with dark brown fur and eyes like fire. I drop into a low stance, knife raised, waiting for it to come. It charges, claws tearing into the earth. I hold my ground, but just as I leap, my foot slips on a patch of blood-slick flesh. My balance falters, and the rogue slams into me full force.

Aria’s lips parted. “It’s you…” she whispered. He moved like a shadow full of rage. With one strike, he sent the first rogue flying into a tree. The second tried to escape, but the great wolf pounced, ending the fight in seconds. Silence returned. Aria’s whole body shook as the massive wolf slowly turned toward her. He didn’t look wild like the rogues. He looked… aware. Alive. Almost human in the way his eyes softened when they met hers. Silver eyes.

Moonlight streamed in. I shut my eyes, prepared for the pain of a lifetime. A sting ran across my body. It originated from my stomach and got dispersed. I writhed. My vision changed, getting to the realm of infra-red. I rose, hunching on the bed as my limbs curved. I jutted my chin. The only emotion I knew being anger. Roaring, I leapt forward. The window shattered in the process. I landed on my feet and began racing.

She said to me. I rolled my eyes. That's what Zero said to me a year ago. “But why? Who made such a rule?” She shrugged, “Firstly, this is a rogue pack. And you know we have a lot of enemies from other packs, not just that, our enemies from the east are everywhere, trying to kill us. It is his duty to keep everyone in check… wait…” Gina's eyes popped out as she caught sight of my hand. She reached for my hand, “Is that an Alpha mark I see?”

Its Rowena, I don’t think a princess is ever going to be a sacrifice. Silence followed after I had said that, but I felt his tension ease. I looked at him in a way he wouldn’t know, I wanted to take all his features, his looks and the way he looked at me when I wasn’t starring. Why do they call you the rogue Alpha , I found myself asking. When I asked that question it seemed to get his attention because he looked at me. I don’t go with their rules princess and I don’t worship their stupid moon goddess who abandoned my people when your people turned against us or because I protected my people with my own power.

"I didn’t act like a rogue. How could I act roguish towards a rogue?!" Suddenly Lina appeared again. This time, she was bright and beautiful like a humanoid and grinning. "Arya don’t overestimate yourself. Even if you are willing to be a rogue, do you have a chance? Do you think others are willing? You are so shameless!"

I say, “is figure out who Ash really is.” Zarina raises a brow. “You think there’s a hidden lineage?” “I think,” I reply, “that there’s no such thing as an undocumented rogue alpha. Not one this powerful. Not one whose wolf is this abnormal. Not one who can withstand a half-completed rejection ritual from the Lycan King and still cling to the bond.” Zarina nods slowly. I continue, voice dropping. “A rogue is powerless without a pack. A rogue is weaker. Untethered. Feral. But Ash?” I shake my head. “Ash is something else.”
