Silas then said with a smile, “The official document is here. The seal for Destiny Entertainment can’t be fake, right?” “Who signed this?! Who dared to sign this without my express agreement?!” Victor screamed. He was so angry that his hands were shaking.

She couldn’t back out now, even if she wanted to. Orfilia took a deep breath and placed the contract on the table in front of her, adjusting her grip on the pen. She hesitated for a moment, her eyes flickering over the paper one last time before she finally made the decision to sign. As she brought the pen to the paper, her hand trembled slightly, but she steadied it with a firm grip. The pen scratched audibly against the paper as she signed her name with a flourish, feeling a knot form in her stomach.

“Oh—okay. Um… I was actually thinking of my best friend, Kemi. She’s been helping behind the scenes already.” Mirabel nodded. “Perfect. But someone has to co-sign the initial deal today. Legal requirements.” Zara hesitated. “Can I bring Kemi along next time? When I meet the associate? She could sign then—” “We’d prefer someone to sign right away. It’ll push things into motion faster,” Mirabel explained. Zara opened her mouth to reply, but before she could speak, Regan’s voice cut in smoothly. “I’ll sign it.” They both turned to him.

Quentin grabbed the contract, scrutinizing every word, fearing a trap. Crack! Another slap landed. Quentin's cheek turned a mix of red and purple as blood trickled from his nose and mouth again. "Why the hesitation? They've even allowed you to sign a promissory note, so what's the holdup?" Brody's voice escalated, demanding an answer. "It's just a habit, I'm very sorry!" Quentin lowered his head in apology, grabbed the pen, and firmly signed his name. He then pulled out his seal, poised to make it official.

"I am." He held the pen out to me. "Then sign it." I took the pen. My hand was shaking as I wrote my name at the bottom of the page. Marigold. It looked small and alone on the paper. He took the contract and looked at it, then set it aside on the nightstand. "Good," he said. "Now we make it official."

I want to punch something. Once the papers are signed and sealed, I won’t waste another second here. I’ll drive through the night if I have to. I just need to finish this one last thing. Then Josen will see I’m not his pawn. The elder slides the final document toward me. I take the quill, my hand steady though my pulse is anything but. The ink drips as I sign my name, sealing the agreement. “There,” the elder says, smiling like he’s just witnessed something historic. “A bond between packs.”

“And the blood supply to the pack’s well?” “Handled,” he said quickly. “Our healers have confirmed the quantities and purity. No shortages, no interference.” I nodded, flipping through the documents laid out before me. Everything was in order—numbers, signatures, seals. But my mind wasn’t there. I was still seeing Selena’s face. I signed the papers anyway. My signature cut across the page like a blade. “Done,” I said flatly. “You’ll receive the official announcement by dawn.” Ken grinned. “Pleasure doing business with you, Your Majesty.”

“And then you’re going to get on your knees and show us you understand what you just agreed to.” My legs were shaking. I was already close to coming from nothing but his fingers and the way they were all looking at me. Damian pulled his fingers out and brought them to my lips. “Taste yourself.” I opened my mouth and sucked his fingers clean. The taste of my own arousal mixed with the power in the room made my head spin. He stepped back and nodded toward the table. “Sign.” My hand was shaking as I picked up the pen again. I signed my name on the last page — Selene Hart — and set the pen down.
