Silas was drooling and foaming at the mouth uncontrollably and pissed himself. “Are you ready to speak now little fish?”, Xander asked smiling maliciously at him. “You are all sick monsters!”, Silas screamed. “No sicker than you wanting our mate and forcing yourself on her”, Xander laughed unhumorously. Xander stood up and grabbed a scalpel, he stabbed Silas in the stomach and dragged it upwards dangerously slow as Silas' screams filled the sound proofed room. “Now is where you tell us where the Rogue King is and we'll spare you a quick death. We know you're working together”, Xavier smirked.

Silas was sitting there cross-legged, looking down at us with his creepy green eyes. Around him, hundreds of small purple spiders were crawling everywhere. "Silas!!" I roared, my power flaring up. "You did this?! These are innocent people! Why?!" Silas jumped down, landing softly in front of us. "Why? Because I can," he shrugged casually. "And because I wanted to see you three in action. I wanted to test if the 'Great Alliance' is really as good as you think." He spread his arms. "This is just a sample. Imagine if I spread this mist over the whole city. Millions of people... becoming my mindless puppets. Wouldn't that be a beautiful world?"

He didn’t flinch. “You think he’ll talk to me again?” Spider was quiet for a moment. “Yeah. Eventually. But you might have to be the one who starts the conversation.” “I don’t know if I can take the silence again.” “Then break it before it becomes permanent.” I nodded slowly, the weight in my chest not gone but a little lighter. Just enough to breathe. Spider glanced down at me. “Also, if I catch you dancing with another dude who wears his sunglasses indoors, I will throw you into traffic.”
