Sienna gasped. The shadows recoiled, unraveling like mist in the morning light. She staggered, her hands reaching for something, anything to hold onto.
But there was nothing left.
With one last, ragged breath, she fell.
The fortress groaned, stone splitting, ceilings crumbling. Elior grabbed Rael, dragging him away as the ruins began to collapse around them. They ran, Myrra and Bram at their side, barely making it through the crumbling corridors as dust and debris swallowed the world behind them.
