He finally released me, and I stumbled backwards, my heart pounding in my chest. He looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and confusion. I couldn’t understand why he had done that, and I couldn’t wait to put this strange encounter behind me. I didn’t say a word, and neither did he. I turned around And I and Tasha quickly left the warehouse, with Me clutching my phone right.

"What's so mysterious?" I reached out and lifted the lid. Nestled inside was an exquisite suit. Under the sunlight streaming through the windows, every thread shimmered with an ever-shifting rainbow of colors, and countless micro-diamonds were meticulously embedded into every seam and detail. My breath caught in my throat. I had genuinely believed that the billion-dollar custom tuxedo I had commissioned was the pinnacle of luxury and elegance, but compared to the masterpiece before me, it suddenly looked dull and utterly outclassed.

The next thing I knew, I was in his arms, his right hand was on my cheek, and we were both getting wet together. "I know that’s not the right question. It’s just that I never get a chance to know your name." "Lotus. My name is Lotus." My wolf purred, enjoying the spark and proximity between us. Hearing her name, he was blank for a moment, as if something clicked in his mind. Maybe about the pendant that he threw away. "If you’re thinking about the pendant, then yes, Dad bought that pendant for me from Andrew because of its design." She spoke, clearing up his misunderstanding. Something that I would have never done.

The anticipation had reached the top of my head. His cold fingers traced the length of my spine, right where my tattoo was. I had to get rid of the former one because the new one had a better meaning to me. “Read it for me, my love.” His voice vibrated on my skin, sending tingles to my core. “Carmelo.” I said breathlessly. “Yes. You are mine, tesoro.” His lips pressed on my nape, making my body jerk with sensation in response. Then they travelled down my tattooed spine.

Kai shot back, already shifting before the argument could continue. It started at their fingertips, a ripple of teal scales spreading over their small arms like water washing over stone. Their nails elongated, curving slightly as their pupils stretched into thin, snake-like slits. Their legs melded together seamlessly, shifting from soft flesh into a long, coiling serpent tail-a stunning shade of teal that shimmered under the faint moonlight, perfectly complementing their hazel eyes. They giggled excitedly, flicking their forked tongues out as they twined around each other playfully.

The thick silence enveloped them both like a fog, but no one dared to speak. Blaze just stared at her while a string of thoughts ran through his head. Tessy, the perfect good girl and younger sister to his best friend, Elias, was a drug dealer. Of all things to be, a girl who dealt with all sorts of people using drugs.

Alex teased, barely able to control his laughter. Alex, not to be outdone, tried to lean on the back of the couch but missed, tumbling down behind it. "Hey, guys, I found a new spot. It's like a secret hideout. Join me!" I managed to perch on the edge of the couch, my limbs feeling unusually elastic. "Ivan, you're on the floor. Alex, you're behind the couch. What is happening?" Ivan, sprawled on the floor, raised an imaginary trophy. "I call this the Gravity Challenge. I win."

But I sighed. We kept on going on countless dates after that, to the movie, and concerts, we once took a road trip to attend The Chainsmokers' drive-in concert and it was so awesome. I loved that with all this, you were still going at a pace we were both comfortable with. We had hugged countless times, you had given me a peck, another time. But damn I wanted more, I was already eighteen and had surpassed successfully some of my teenage and youthfully exuberance. But now I was in a relationship, and I needed more than just the casual hugs and occasional peck.
