His Addiction

His Addiction

"I know you have been stalking me. How long has it been going on like that? To meet your grandfather, you stoop this low, like paying those homeless people there to kill me? What? Did you plan to meet him in the morgue or graveyard?" Her back stiffened as Bash used that word. Graveyard. It triggered a memory that she had to shake away from her mind. "It's your...mental breakdown talking. It's okay. I can feel you." She lowered her gaze, not wanting Bash to see her red-rimmed eyes. Trying hard to keep her emotions at bay, she ranted, "That is normal after what happened to you in that street. People there can be violent because of poverty, unemployment, and addiction that an addict can't get r

"No need to repeat it, this shit is still ringing in my head like a death melody. But I want you to find a way for me to go see her." "How?" Jayden asked, crossing his arms, skeptical, staring at Richard. "Wait for a few days. I need to improve the spasms and this withdrawal. My body seems to need this crap." "That's what might happen. She used more than the normal dosage and more times than the doctor recommends. You got addicted." "With time, this will pass. Just stay away from the substances that caused this and continue with the proper treatment, not to mention that I have to keep up with therapy. So, please ask the therapists to keep coming."

Her Boys

Her Boys

He stopped mentioning his friend for ages, ever since we found out about… my condition. “No, Spence. This is my fault. Stop blaming yourself, come on. I dragged myself into this. So please, stop blaming yourself.” I said in a low voice. I tried to sound encouraging but I don’t know if I succeeded. Spencer shook his head, sighing once more. “If only… I did not befriended him then you won’t be introduced in this… kind of world.” he almost whispered the last words. I sighed. “I told you not to blame yourself, Spencer. I’m the one who got this addiction, I am the one who choice this.” I tried to sound calm.

When You Make A Deal With The Biker Mafia

When You Make A Deal With The Biker Mafia

he paused, choosing his words carefully, "she's struggling with a cocaine addiction. She's been in and out of rehab, trying to get clean. If she acts strange or seems off today, just understand she's dealing with a lot and trying her best." I sat there processing everything, my mind racing. This afternoon was going to be far more complicated than I'd imagined.

Falling For My Stepbrother 1

Falling For My Stepbrother 1

I asked again. “Apparently, he had a drug problem.” She answered. I never put that on Mark's name. He didn't look like he used stuff other than multivitamins or fruits. “Chase said he's had it since forever.” She said, “And none of them thought to tell me about it. He relapsed after the memorial of Chase's mom, and since then, it's been hell for me. I just couldn't take it anymore.” My mom's voice was breaking. And it broke me to hear her like that.

The Alpha and the Envious Moon

The Alpha and the Envious Moon

Reid Reid stretched his legs out on the coffee table and leaned his head back on the couch, blowing rings of smoke whilst he scrolled through images of BDSM wear on his phone. Jasper had put his name on Reid’s finger, and Reid was determined to return the favor. A nice discrete slave collar, he thought, with a padlock that Reid had the key to… A harness caught his attention, and he leaned forward and stabbed out the joint in the ashtray. “Add to cart,” he grinned. The weed was giving him a nice buzz and influencing his online shopping, he admitted. But damn it, Jasper would look hot in that harness. “Hmph,” he swung his feet down and rose to standing before pacing the room restlessly.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

“He’s just using the bathroom, Sed. No need to call in the Feds.” “He just went to the bathroom ten minutes ago. And do you really buy that story about him spilling his pills down the sink? Come on, Brian, look at the signs. We saw this happen to Jon and we ignored it until it was too late. I’m not going to let it destroy Trey too.” “In case you’ve forgotten, Trey has a prescription and he needs his meds. Jon was abusing illegal drugs.” “Addiction is addiction. Percocet is a narcotic. He was only supposed to be on it for two weeks and it’s been over a month. How does he keep getting refills? Something is not right here.”

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Love this well written book! Thoughts & emotions are conveyed beautifully! The author makes you feel like you know the characters intimately w/o being excessive or mundane. Hot & steamy w/o crude vulgarity! I wish we could give gems at the end of chapter but that’s the app, not the author’s fault.

Silent Addiction

Silent Addiction

The black headsets were enough to block out every single sound as his focus settled on the peace of wood miles away. Pulling the trigger multiple times, he changed the magazine and continued. With each bullet, his mind drifted back to the girl laying still in his room. Especially her damn smile that kept haunting him. He was now very sure that her every smile held a pinch of poison. Two damn weeks without looking in to her beautiful sea eyes, two damn weeks without seeing her smile.

His Dark Desires

His Dark Desires

"When you woke up two weeks ago, you said Lucas was going to be disappointed in you if he knew what happened to you, what did you mean by that?" His eyes flicker with emotions, "I am.." He pauses and pressed his lips together and pain and regret flashed in his eyes, "I mean was addicted to heroin, you already know that." He points out and I nod in response, I did listen to his tapes on how his foster mother got him addicted, "I got clean after Audrey's death, and I was for almost a two years, but I relapsed." He admits in shame and his head drops, "Lucas didn't know about it, but the school was hard for me, I was different and a few years older than most of my pairs in senior high school and
