Courtney hurried to his side, heartbroken as she watched her son, who had once been so steady and wise, now on the brink of destroying himself over a woman. Her husband had passed away years ago, and Tyrone had always been trouble. Spencer, however, had been her pride and joy—her carefully nurtured heir. But now, he was willing to die for a woman.
