Greene’s Metal Salvage. I frown and tap the paragraph, reading a few lines of what appears to be a narrative detailing someone’s workday at Greene’s Metal Salvage, recognizable as our Greene’s Metal Salvage, which is on the other side of town by the lumber mill near Black Creek Bridge. Scanning the page further, I catch a reference to “Mr. Jingo’s County Fair.” Our Jingo’s County Fair? The one which comes every August? Intrigued, I flip ahead several pages, seeing references to Henry’s Drive-In, The Skylark Diner, Yellow Cab, Paddy’s Place, The Commons Trailer Park on Bassler Road . . .

“What could you possibly have to do that’s so time consuming?” “Are you kidding?” I folded my arms. “Look at this place. I bet you wouldn’t last one hour running a facility as large as this.” Jake sighed and nodded as he looked around. The Greenbrooke Library was huge. It was two stories high with a coffee shop on the second floor, and there was even a garden out back where people could sit and read as they enjoyed the nature around them. The Library opens at 10 am and she could see some students dawdling at the corner of the building. Aiden saw the town's flag that was attached to the top of the one-story building as it swept from left to right. The Library was beautiful, surrounded by hedges, and a plain field covered with grasses, the founding fathers of this town did a good job by renovating most of the old buildings and encouraging the afforestation of silver birch trees which had a high population in Arcadi
