Cassini I lay back on the lounge chair in the shade while looking over the pool. We were on the top of a hill, so the city of Florence could be seen past the property a few miles into the distance. I read a book on my lap while I relaxed in my swimsuit, enjoying the summer heat while my cold drink perspired. Every few pages, my mind would start to wander. Wander to the man I met a few nights ago. He didn’t have a name, and his business card was even more unusual. The only detail was the sketch of a black skull. It was fossilized bone with a snake protruding out of the eye socket. I googled anything related to skulls online but couldn’t find anything relevant.

Oh, thank you, God! I immediately carried him up to the altar and sprinkled it over the skull. Instantly the fire on the skull was extinguished. I plucked the skull hard until it come off. Sure enough, a sword was inside the strut of the skull. I take it. Looks sharp and shiny. "Aaaaaa!" It was the sound of my friends screaming. Damn! I have to hurry to get out of here.

Tethys strode into the tomb with the exact same arrogance that defined him, his every movement an exercise in calculated confidence. He was flanked by his marids, their dark, obsidian bodies shimmering in the dim light. They were creatures of pure malice, their eyes glowing with the malevolent fire of their master. With a silent, sharp gesture, they carried forth a massive skull, a grotesque relic of long-forgotten beasts. The skull was oblong, its surface marred by jagged teeth that seemed to glisten with a hunger of their own. They placed the skull right next to Aylin’s suspended form, and the air around them immediately began to pulse with dark energy.

In the box, there was a piece of backbone-like bone. However, this bone was not white, but blue and transparent. Carson Montgomery looked at the skeleton with excitement in his eyes. The second cultivator took out an object wrapped in green leaves. This leaf was as huge as a banana leaf, so the object wrapped around it was about the size of an adult's head. This cultivator slowly opened the leaves. An orange skull suddenly appeared in front of Carson Montgomery. It looked like a human skull, but there was a pair of curved horns on both sides of the forehead, and the mouth was bigger than a human's.
