She blinked. “You?”
His grin widened. “Me.”
Ashley lifted an eyebrow. “Ace, you can barely color inside the lines.”
He leaned in, voice low. “But I can make people want things. That is branding.”
“Branding, not manipulation.”
“Same toolbox,” he shrugged. “Different paintbrush.”
She hated that he had a point.
He spun her gently by the shoulders until she faced the burnt wall where her mural used to be.
“Picture it,” he murmured behind her. “New mural. High-contrast style. Viper-themed, but not corny. A signature wall people travel to see. Something that screams Ashley.”
