I shrugged my shoulders, leaning back in my chair, resting my feet on Lucifer's desk, and ignoring how he glared at me for atrociously disrespecting his property.
"It's called building trust. People are much more willing to give information when they believe they can trust you. Plus, it makes it all the more fun to watch them cry and beg you to stop whatever you're doing when they believe you have a heart." I mused, picking at invisible lint in my shirt.
"You want to know what I think?" Gideon adds.
"Not really," I answered, rolling my eyes and earning a grunt of disapproval from Lucifer.
