Anything But Porcelain

Anything But Porcelain

Ari Gunther Hawthorn
She began to sing while thinking about Romero, her voice echoed in the pack house causing everyone to listen with a smile. “All those days…..watching from the windows….All those years…outside looking in…All that time never really knowing…just…how blind I’ve been….Now I’m here blinking in the starlight….Now I’m here…suddenly I see…Standing here…It’s all so clear….I’m where I’m meant to be….And at last I see the light….and it’s like the fog has lifted…..and at last I see the light….and it’s like the sky is new….and it’s warm and real and bright…and the world has somehow shifted….all at once everything looks different…now that I see you…” She trailed off as she stepped out of the shower. Romer

This book is by far one of the best books I have read on here. Many laughs and many, many tears. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong female lead along with supernatural entities. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Wonderful book though there are gruesome and painful torturous moments but the main lead is a brave, strong, kind hearted, positive and loving lady. Her positive outlook and disposition is commendable. Plenty of twist, hope, love lovely moments then psin real painful to read.. Hope for more lovely b

The Broken Moon Princess

The Broken Moon Princess

And she was sure, he would also know that… As she got closer to the old barn, she stopped and listened. She heard shallow breathing, and she knew it was her mother. Tala started running and threw open the big wooden door. Her eyes adjusted very quickly, and she saw her mother tied to a wooden pole. Her head hanging and there was blood all over her. Tala could see she was beaten badly, and she rushed over to her. “Mom, mom!” Tala said urgently, lifting her face. Tala tried to untie her, but the ropes were soaked in wolfbane… She swore under her breath as her fingers burned while she tried to untie it.

Mother, May I

Mother, May I

The other. “Fuck, fuck, fuck,” I chant, legs shaking. You gonna cum for me? “Almost. Almost!” Then she adds another finger. “FUCK!” I scream, gripping her head with both hands. I can’t tell if the wetness on her face is water or me. That’s when we both get a mindlink—from my mother. You two better get out of that damn shower! Ninety minutes until the ceremony and I still have to do your makeup and hair!

Tangled With The Fated Mates

Tangled With The Fated Mates

"Knowing me, knowing you, there is nothing we can't do. Knowing me, knowing you…." Ariella and her parents crooned the ABBA classic without harmony of any kind, Ariella's voice being the loudest as she sang at the top of her lungs. The wind carried their voices as they weaved through the forest with Matt's trusty Chevrolet.

THE CEO PLUS-SIZE EX-WIFE

THE CEO PLUS-SIZE EX-WIFE

Andrea's heart raced as she laid eyes on the piano, a relic she had thought lost forever to those they were indebted to. Lost in a reverie, a haunting melody began to fill the room, stirring her soul. Each note tugged at her heartstrings, evoking memories of her mother's gentle hums harmonizing with the same tune now played by Mr. Singer. Tears welled up in her eyes, cascading down her cheeks as she reminisced about her mother's love and sacrifices. "Mom," Andrea whispered under her breath. As Mr. Singer struck the final chord, a wave of applause erupted, everyone rising to their feet in awe and appreciation.

Tangled Destinies

Tangled Destinies

But as the movie approached its end, Lila’s smile began to fade. She noticed that something seemed off. A subtle shift in tone crept in—a quiet, haunting sense of melancholy that lingered just under the surface. It was almost unnoticeable, and Aaron and Winnie, still engrossed, didn’t seem to notice. Elara and Finn eventually reached a tower hidden by fog, where, they were told, an evil witch had imprisoned their mother. The children, with the help of the friends they’d made, bravely faced the witch, banishing her and freeing their mother at last. But when the mother embraced her children, the animation took on an odd, faded quality, the colors dulling slightly, though the characters’ joy re

Tangled in vengeance and desire

Tangled in vengeance and desire

Kim muttered. "I will call his sister tomorrow. This is not his first time running away when there's an issue. He will come around," Jessica said. "Thank you. We will take our leave now," Kim said, standing up. "Mom, please give me some minutes," Daniel pleaded with a pout as he held Joey's hand. His mother nodded, and left. Jessica went to her room while I was left with Julian. He looked like he was deep in thoughts as he stared at me so I cleared my throat loudly.

Tangled in His Web

Tangled in His Web

The sound of her own breath, ragged, panicked. The staircase. Always the staircase. She saw her father again—his figure tumbling down, arms flailing, the sickening crack of impact echoing through her skull. Her chest tightened. And this time, the blurred figure at the top of the stairs seemed closer. More defined. Still hazy, still impossible to see clearly—but there was malice in the shape. She heard faint screaming. Her own? Her father’s? She couldn’t tell. Hands outstretched. Pushing.

The Test That Shook Two Mothers

The Test That Shook Two Mothers

Through my tears, I leaned against the door and asked, "Mom, is Annie really your real daughter?" For a moment, Mom froze. Then, she quickly snapped, "What are you talking about? I'm your real mom. If you were more like Annie, I wouldn't have to discipline you so much!" But I had no idea what I had done wrong. I picked up the scraps of my exam slip and shoved them in my pocket.

The First Wife’s Revenge

The First Wife’s Revenge

“Because you are more than what they made you. You are more than the vow. You are the first, and last, Bloodbound born of choice and rebellion.” Tears burned Olivia’s eyes. “I can’t do this alone.” Her mother leaned in, pressing her forehead to Olivia’s. “You won’t.” A soft glow spread through the room. Her mother’s form began dissolving into light. “No!” Olivia lunged, grabbing her shoulders. “Not yet. You can’t leave yet,” “I have to,” her mother whispered. “But listen. Before I go… you must know the final truth.” Olivia froze. “What truth?”
