Terrible Inventions

One week before our marking ceremony, my Alpha Mate, Corey Black, looks me straight in the eye and says something unbelievable, "I want to have a pup with my long-time friend Willow." At first, I assume it's a terrible joke, but I see determination in his serious expression. I suppress the churning feeling in my stomach and ask him why. He sighs, his gaze gentle as if he's soothing an unreasonable child. "Willow's old Beta father is dying. His only dying wish is to see Willow have a pup. We're doing it through IVF, so it won't hurt our relationship. "Her father devoted his entire life to the pack. You wouldn't refuse to fulfill even his dying wish, would you? You wouldn't be that cruel, right?" I don't know how to respond. He speaks as if not letting my fated mate have a pup with another woman is selfish. Later, when I go to visit the gravely ill old Beta, Corey is holding Willow Lester in his arms. His hand gently strokes her hair as he lets her sob against his chest. The moment our eyes meet, pain strikes my very soul. My wolf lets out a desperate howl of anguish. I stumble away, only to receive a text from him on the day of our marking ceremony. "Honey, Willow and I are undergoing the IVF procedure. Let's postpone the ceremony for now." I stare blankly at those words, my hand unconsciously moving to my still-flat stomach. Since he wants so badly to have a pup with another woman, I will grant his wish and disappear with my pup.

Once you've had a taste of the darkness, it's hard to pull away... **** This book was written in the late 1990's - early 2000's, and originally published in 2004, under the title: Diary of a Vampire by S.M. Royston. It was my first book, and it wasn't long until I came to hate it! (Please, don't look it up - I promise you, it's terrible) So here we are, years later, and I've decided to throw out my original work, and re-write it. Because I'm the author, and I can do that. The story, characters, and settings are the same - but the writing style is different, and in my opinion, much, much better. I hope you enjoy it. ****

To hell with you!” I spat at his face, my chest fuming with anger “I was planning to take you to heaven but if you prefer hell, then so be it.” his hoarse voice roamed my neck and before I could blink, my left breast was in his huge palm He crushed it painfully as he locked his gaze with me. I winced in pain but refused to fall for his cheap, pleasurable tricks. “Everything, everything about you is mine. You can never die without my permission. I will make you submit to my authority,” he declared with a rougher voice and claimed my right breast in his mouth My body betrayed me. A slight gasp escaped my throat as his wet tongue coated my nipple. It was insanely good. The mix of pleasure and hatred were too much for my body to handle, I had to let go of one for the other. Pleasure! My body chose that as I shamelessly moaned in his tight grip. He was sucking hard on the breast in his mouth as he fondled the other. “Shit!” I found myself spitting out as he stopped abruptly His eyes were red with pleasure as he stared at me. “Let’s stop here for today, little rogue. We shall continue another time” I couldn’t believe my ears. I watched the enemy that killed my entire family walk out of the door without being able to do anything but the most terrible thing was that I enjoyed his pleasure. “Damn you, Aria!” I cursed myself as I broke into tears.

“Father, please!” I immediately fell on my knees. “I will be a good slave to you, I will work harder and try to make your meals on time! I'm your only child for gods sake, you can't do this to me, father. You're all I've got and even if you continue to treat me this way, I'll endure every pain you inflict on me but I'll never ever get married to that wicked Alpha!” I tried to grab his leg, but he pushes me away and I fell face down with a thud. My feelings and desires didn't matter to him. I was nothing more than a pawn in his game of politics and power. “You are nothing but an omega. A wolf less wolf. You're even useless and you got no skills. How then can I rely on you when I'm gone. Oh my goodness, I curse the day you were born. What could possibly be describe as your worst nightmare?. I will tell you, my worst nightmare could be describe as seeing my boyfriend and my twin sister... 'Together' in prom. He wiped a stray tear from her chin before grabbing it. "I will bruise your lip and scar your knees and love you too hard.." he brushed his lips on hers, "I will destroy you. And when I leave, You will finally understand why storms are named after humans." ........................... Rosette never had an easy life, and after the death of her mother, when she thought things couldn't get worse, her life started going fully downhill. She was tortured beyond repair in her own house.
