The Billionaire’s Last Clause Novels & Stories

Long seconds later, the doors rolled open to reveal the penthouse—a vast expanse of black granite, faintly lit and lavishly furnished. The walls, which could have been covered in crisp bills, screamed of an opulence as loud as the owner’s net worth. The walls were adorned with art that cost more than the apartment that Elizabeth currently shared with her brother. To a mortal, this place seemed as inaccessible in price as the man himself was claimed to be in character.

Deciding not to engage in further argument, Damien chose to proceed with the original intention he had in mind when he got out of his car. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a crumpled hundred-dollar bill, and extended it toward her. "Here... this should cover a new outfit and some extra for your needs." He hadn't anticipated the resounding slap from Aella after his words had left his mouth. Damien Sullivan, the CEO of Damien Fashion World, a multi-billion-dollar company, was slapped by a commoner. Rage welled up inside him at the thought. His ego was more than bruised, and Aella didn't seem to mind as she grabbed the dollar note from his outstretched hand and tore it to shreds.

There were just three clauses and nothing more. “As you can see, the document contains only three clauses,” Blake cleared his throat. “First, you'll forever be the sole owner of the company. You can't sell it to anyone now or in the future, no matter how foolishly in love and brainwashed you are,” Blake read out. “Are you being serious right now?” Ronan Knight seemed to enjoy rubbing my stupidity on my face with every little chance. “Clause two,” Blake began. “The company is a multi million dollar company. But Mr. Knight is selling it to you for just a dollar….” He hesitated for a few seconds, then cleared his throat.

“Did you see anything in the room at least, that could help you Identify him? I hesitated, the watch flashing in my mind. “I know he's rich, like filthy rich. He had a Patek Philippe Grandmaster chime on the nightstand.” Laura blinked, “I've heard that name before,” she said, narrowing her eyes. “Isn't that Scott's dream watch?” She asked. I nodded, my chest tightening. “ It is.” “Oh Linda, I'm so sorry for bringing him up.” She apologized. “It's fine,” I said softly.

Clenching tightly unto my heart, at last the City's famous cold hearted billionaire couldn't take it anymore and cried ever so horribly. Damn, what a shitty story indeed!

I sprinted towards Denver’s door which was at the far end of the hallway. Reaching the door, I wasted no time in yanking it open. “Poison… don’t eat, your food…. I sputtered trying to catch my breath with tears streaming down my face. “Calm down butterfly, I know”. He answered calmly. I didn’t have time to react to the pet name. I looked at him with disbelief and confusion. Taking my silence as confusion, he continued “ I have a lot of enemies Mia. I’m a blind billionaire, do you for once think I will go a day without being protected?”

I did want to decline his offer, but Miller spared me a glare, and I knew what that meant. We left for a high-class bar which was a few miles after the boutique. Seated and relaxing my muscles, I went through my phone to avoid us starting a conversation. "I heard you were coronated as the youngest billionaire of New York last year at the Billionaire's festive award." He let out, which for some reason caught my attention. I ran my hand in my hair before replying to his comment, "Since you are aware of that, I don't see why you chose to remind me."

“Yes, money oils everything.” “I suppose you have many charities that you support?” He smiles at me. “No.” “Why not? You’re a billionaire. Think how much good you can do in the world.” He walks towards me with my drink. “Stop being naïve, Star. How do you think one becomes a billionaire in the first place?” I scowl as I take my drink from him. “I’m a billionaire because I made millions of people all around the world poorer. Through immoral and illegal means, I acquired resources for a fraction of the price they should have been. What should have belonged to the people I took for myself.”

"I remember what you've told me before. You said you were bought 10 million by the Billionaire before, and you ran away after a month of living with him under the same roof. What if you will meet that billionaire? What will you do?" "Uh, if it is going to happen. I've prepared that, Klara," she answered smoothly. "I was sold by him for a big amount of money, but I equalized everything. I gave him my everything. My body that he always desires, my virginity. My performance was the best and I satisfied him on his bed. I made him happy it's from the five million I got from the club as a payment... oh, he's not at a loss anymore because he enjoyed being with me for a whole month that reached ten

Failure to provide verifiable proof that the transfer documents have been legally drafted and notarized will result in permanent termination. The phone slipped from my fingers and clattered loudly against the polished wood. My knees gave out almost immediately afterward. I sank onto the floor beside the desk, my back striking the edge hard enough to hurt, but I barely felt it. Exhaustion and terror had hollowed me out so completely that my body felt numb beneath the weight of it. Twenty-four hours. Miller needed days. The kidnappers were giving me one. The armor I had spent five years building around myself shattered completely in the silence of that room. Clara Everett—the ruthless billiona
