He picked it up and frowned at the shape of the book. When he opened it, he found that it was Audrey's diary. He closed it and put it back, feeling presumptuous to read it. However, when he stood up and was about to leave the place, curiosity stopped his body. Daniel sat down again and picked up the book carefully. Now he carried the book to the bed and opened it. At first, Daniel smiled reading the contents of Audrey's diary, but then the smile disappeared when he read a page that had a surprising fact on it.

FINAL DAY OF THE AWAKENING Chaos’s P.O.V I was awoken by the beating of drums and the echoes of a chant you rarely heard even back in our home realm. A chant that was as old as time itself. I turned to find Xavier leaning against the headboard with his eyes squeezed shut.

“Are you done?” Daniel nodded and stood up to walk towards her. Seeing how serious she was reading earlier, he could not help but feel curious. “What book are you reading?” She picked up the book and showed him the cover. “I just took a random one.” Daniel’s pupils constricted and his gaze gradually turned deep. “Why is it this book…”

"No, Morana, you are family now. Just call me Daniel." Putting his hands up beside him, Daniel glanced back at his family and grinned. "Let me tell you a story about your husband, Morana." “Oh, boy.” Chuckling to himself under his breath, Haldir wrapped his arm around Mory's back to steady her. He could feel the nerves in her belly, and he kissed her cheek then whispered in her ear. “Just relax.” Daniel crossed his arms then glanced to the floor as he gathered his words. "Over two hundred years ago, I stood before my master on Earth and awaited my death."

I set him down beside me as I sat on the sofa. “Then let’s see how well this big wolf reads.” Daniel quickly climbed back onto the cushion between Gina and me, grabbing the book again with eager hands. He cleared his throat dramatically before starting again. “…the brave little wolf walked through the forest where the trees were tall and…” He slowed down slightly, sounding out the next word. “…mys… mys… mys…” “Mysterious,” I said gently. Daniel repeated it carefully. “Mysterious.” Then he continued. “…and mysterious.”
