I say as I end the call and make my way to the door. “Alden?” I call in surprise as I open the door. He usually waits until I am out of my room to talk to me. “What is wrong?” “We just got news. The Luna mother of the Obsidian pack is dead.”

She added with a serious look on her face as she crossed her arms in front of her. The triplets stared at her askance. “Ladies room? This is the men’s room.” Another of the triplets spoke. His hair was tied into a neat bun. One noticeable feature that Irene could see was that all three brothers had the same color of hair, skin, and eyes. She could only tell who was who by their voices and their hairstyles.

Your mates need you now.” I opened the door and walked in. My mates were all on the floor, on their knees, around a bed with Luna Jenna laying in the middle. Her eyes were closed, and her face looked peaceful but she looked withered. The triplets were half shifted, their wolves pushing through and their human halves fighting it.
