They knock on the door twice and it opens wide before a man who looks like he is in his mid forties, comes into their view. "Good morning, Mr. Taylor! This is my daughter, Itzel! You could not meet her yesterday, right?" Mrs. Singh rants on. "And Itzel, this is Tyberius Taylor! Our new butler here." She introduces him to her. But Itzel keeps her scrutinizing gaze on that poor man who keeps on shifting on his feet while gulping visibly.

And I need to get away before I lose my mind. "I'm only doing my job," he replies coolly. "Excuse me." He walks away. I roll my eyes as I watch him. Can't he just say 'Thanks" instead? "I'm just doing my job," I mimic his voice, laughing to myself. He's a piece of work. Butler Lucas returns from wherever he'd been hiding. "Breakfast is served in the dining room, my dear," he says in his worldly manners. Medium height, average body, with snow-like hair, Butler Lucas is my most loyal employee. The old man has been all over the fancy cities of the world, and Paris is where I stole him.

Hailey frowned at his expression. The man was trying so hard to avoid her gaze and his face was ashen as if shocked at the sight of her. Hailey narrowed her eyes at him and gave him a cautious nod. "I-I I'll get going then," The Butler stammered. "I have some things to take care of. Urgh, those maids. I wonder where they've run off to." Then he scuttled past her and down the stairs. Hailey's gaze followed his back, the frown on her face deepening. There was something about this Butler. What was he hiding this time?

Like that's true! Meanwhile, trouble was arising as they spoke. Butler Corren looked like a sensible, kind old man. He was a capable grand butler, working for the dukedom ever since he was a young man. In the past, Natalia thought he'd at least be cordial to her but he dropped her in a heartbeat. It was sad. "This is your butler, Wilbur. He will lead you to your room"

the butler said, guilt shining in his eye, making me feel bad. "It's alright, it was my fault too, I am so unobservant that I forgot about you," I replied. "BTW we are equal, now right? Oh, but what's your name if you don't mind me asking..." I trailed off. "Oh, My apologies, I should have introduced my self. My lady, my name is Alfred and I am the family butler. I've been here for so long that sometimes I also forget I'm a worker, not a family member," he replied, shaking my hand with his making me chuckle at his truthfulness.

Might as well, she tried to be friendlier to him this time. “Anyway, you can drop the ‘Miss’ thing, Butler Henry.” She tried to act friendlier this time. But the good and loyal butler just shook his head – making her forehead creased. “I’m sorry, but I am already used to it. Anyway, if you have more questions, don’t hesitate to tell me.” He said it monotonously. After Butler Henry left her in the kitchen, she couldn’t help but feel awe. It was certainly huge, and everything that she needed was all present and complete. It was organized and clean.

Connor’s hands are shaking when holding the cup. His teeth are chattering inside his sealed lips. Butler Robert knows more than him because he is also the batch mate of Bridget as the pioneering worker who gains loyalty within the family. “How many years did he is now serving the household? It seems Butler Robert was so confident in the way he talk—“ “For twenty-years … or maybe twenty-one now. He works with us when I am Ten years old. The other butlers retired, but he stayed for a long time—just like auntie Bridget.”

He had insisted they discuss her findings in person, dismissing the idea of a phone call. "Thank you," Autumn repeated, this time with genuine warmth in her eyes. She felt a strange, comforting familiarity with the butler—almost as if he were a father figure. His grey hair and the lines on his face spoke of years of service and wisdom. "No need to thank me, miss. In fact, I should be the one thanking you," the butler replied, watching with mild amusement as Autumn eagerly began to eat. There was something endearing in the way she shoveled the food into her mouth, lacking the pretentious restraint he had grown accustomed to with

This could easily lead to sabotage. "Oh, just call me Cattleya," I said with a smile. "That's my name.” And I have to gain this butler's trust to use him in the long run. "My name is Thad," he said, shaking hands with me. "Just call me Butler Thad, Miss Cattleya." Then he walked to the doorway and glanced at me. "If you need anything, just push the red button near to your table. I'll be glad to serve you, Miss Cattleya."

The man seems to be in his early fifties. "Good morning ma'am. I guess you do not know me. I am the butler of this house. You can just call me Butler Li." The man said with a big smile on his face. "Oh, butler Li. That sounds nice. Please can I eat the food on the table? I'm famished." She said and pouted her lips sulkily and the maids couldn't help but laugh at the new ma'am's silliness. "Yeah. You are the owner of the food. You can eat it, ma'am. Just let me know if you need anything and I will surely provide it immediately." The butler said. The smile never left his face for once.
