The Clinic Novels & Stories

"But I didn't know the company provided a doctor?" "We have a special clinic on the eighth floor, next to the main meeting room. There are two doctors, three nurses, and a pharmacist. If you're not feeling well, just come there and you'll be taken care of quickly," Leah said. "Doctor Ben Edmont is the head of the clinic here." "Wow, that's amazing. Was that clinic created because our boss has severe Gerd?" I asked in awe. "No. If I heard correctly, there's a clinic like that at every Bradley family company, and it's always the first one built," Leah said. "I also read about it in a book about the founding of Golden Moonlight Real Estate Company."

"I'll go." The woman smiled. "Good. It's better to know than to keep wondering." Chloe nodded. "Thank you... for stopping." The woman waved her hand lightly. "I hope you're alright." "So do I." With her groceries in one hand, Chloe slowly made her way toward the clinic. --- The clinic was much smaller than Grey Memorial. There were no marble floors or private wings. The waiting area held only a few rows of chairs, a potted plant near the entrance, and an old television playing quietly in the corner.

"But I'm used to it." We continued like that, exchanging comments about the weather—the cloudy sky, the constant cold—and small pleasantries, until I noticed we were leaving the city center and heading toward a more sophisticated area. That's when I saw the imposing private clinic building, with large windows and an elegant façade in shades of white and gold. My stomach tightened. "Ravi..." I started, but my voice almost failed me. "This clinic is..." "One of the best," he completed, parking with the ease of someone who saw nothing extraordinary about it. "I want you and the baby to have the best possible care."
