Mafia King’s Regret: Winning Rebellious Bride Back

Mafia King’s Regret: Winning Rebellious Bride Back

She walked over and pressed the screen. A live feed flickered on. An elderly couple stood outside the front gate—probably in their seventies. The man was tall and thin, with a gentle stoop to his back. The woman beside him wore a simple shawl and held a large glass dish, wrapped carefully in a cloth. They didn’t look threatening. Just... curious. A voice came through the speaker. “Ma’am, there’s a couple here. They say they’re neighbors from down the private road. Wanted to meet the owner.”

Being CEO's Fake Fiancée

Being CEO's Fake Fiancée

I take a detour and head into the kitchen. "You are a life saver. I was just about to microwave some takeout I had Friday night." ××××××××××× "You know I'll miss the free WiFi we get from the Parkers," Kat says as soon as the credits appeared on screen. The Parkers are a married couple who moved in downstairs two months before I came. They are sweet, friendly and good company. "Yeah, I will too. I hear they're expecting a baby boy in seven months." I rest my head on the arm of the couch.

I Got Pregnant For The Wrong Twin

I Got Pregnant For The Wrong Twin

Silence. Together. ———————————————————————— The new neighbors moved in a month later. A young couple with a toddler and a dog, looking for a place to put down roots. They came to our door with cookies and questions, nervous and hopeful, the way we'd been when we first arrived. I welcomed them. Helped them carry boxes. Told them about the neighborhood, the park at the end of the street, the bakery where I worked. I did not tell them about the woman who'd lived in their house before. I did not warn them about casseroles or texts or visits at the gate.

The Reluctant Alpha

The Reluctant Alpha

Kurt sighed, stroking my cheek, tucking the blonde streak of my hair behind my ear. “Have you heard any of our neighbors having sex?” Kurt questioned. “Well, no…” I furrowed my brow. “Exactly. It's not that they aren’t. While most of the residents are unmated, our direct neighbors are a mated couple. And we don’t hear them going at it. But you can bet they are.” Kurt smiled. “Okay, but maybe the soundproofing is just better in the apartment.” I offered. “An apartment building isn’t going to have better anything than the packhouse that the Alpha and Luna live in.” Kurt scoffed. “Then…” I frowned.

Man's Best Wingman

Man's Best Wingman

Clay groaned as he moved me to another wall instead of the panel. “That’s the end game.” I groaned, rocking against him as I pulled his lips back to mine. Neither of us paid attention to the door dings. We were a bit too occupied making out, grinding against each other. When we reached our destination, we couldn’t ignore it. Hard to ignore the annoyed cough of my other neighbor, the elderly couple of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly. “Um… evening, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.” I blushed as I pulled back from Clay’s delicious lips.

Is that really how the book ends? It's a really good book but to end it that way... Especially with the trauma the two main characters seperately endured... Feels wrong to deprive the reader from getting to have that HEA with the characters.

Another wonderful book!! I have laughed so hard it hurts and this is not just a nod to romance, But Life getting in the way and our animals fully taking over and inserting themselves when we aren't brave enough to do it ourselves. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Don't Rent A House Where Someone Died

Don't Rent A House Where Someone Died

How could it have been empty? But when I thought about it, I recalled that I had only seen the couple after the sun went down. I had never really checked the apartment next door, except maybe in my dream. I felt my skin crawl. I looked outside. The sun was still out, and I felt a little bold. I could just take a look and see if anyone was really staying there. I could not possibly run into ghosts while it was bright outside, could I? I had heard the wife knocking on my door last night, though. I had also heard the husband hitting his wife.

His Perfect Wife Strikes Back

His Perfect Wife Strikes Back

In less than 10 minutes, the driver took me to my destination. I got out of the car and took a look at the house I used to live in. Now I just feel sick and disgusted to see it. This house is like a closed cage for my life. So I decided to go around the back garden and enter the house. The people who live next door are a French couple who come to live only after Christmas. The rest of the time, the house is empty. So I climbed over the wall into the French couple's garden, and then I snuck into Ron's house.

The Unbearable Game

The Unbearable Game

We barely spoke for the next several days, and there was an invisible tension lingering between us. I thought about finding an opportunity to apologize to her when our neighbor paid an unexpected visit. A couple, Liam and Heather Smith lived in the apartment next door. They were known as the most affectionate couple in our building, joined at the hip and always in sync. Sometimes, I could not help but wonder how they managed to stay so sweet to each other after so many years of marriage. They hosted a small gathering today and invited several young couples, including us. The men drank while the women chatted. The atmosphere was wonderful. I looked at my wife, who was finally gazing back at m

My Next Door Neighbor

My Next Door Neighbor

The next morning, as Trent stood in front of the kitchen window drinking his coffee, he debated whether or not to close the blinds. He looked across the yard towards his neighbor’s house. It appeared empty. With a small shrug, he decided to keep the blinds as they were. She had probably got bored of watching him at that point. He was something new. Trent understood that, just as he knew he wasn’t the most exciting person.

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

I never in a hundred years imagined she would say " Do you think they would come closer to get a better view? Would it be OK with you if they do?" My cock had a mind of it's own and I hesitantly said " I guess" which caused her to half turn, continue to ride and motion to the couple to come closer. They didn't hesitate to walk towards us and stopped where they both had a clear view. They were an older couple, maybe mid forties kind of ordinary, the type of couple who might live next door. Beth said" Hi, I'm glad you came over to watch, it makes me really excited to be watched. Oh, by the way, I'm Beth and this is my boyfriend Doug. We're here for a week of fun in the sun and this is some of
