I said in a disgusted tone as I held the arm of the couch where I sat. The thing I don't like the most is that, when I have a lot of questions on my mind, no one wants to answer me seriously, and worse, I know that they already know the answer to it, but they don't want to say it in front of me. Is it that hard to say? It's me, isn't it? It’s my memories, it's my life that I can't remember and I want to remember them. I felt that they just took something important to me. It felt like they had just taken half of my life.

That home was always here, but the world was open to us now. Before we left again, I finished compiling my writings into a complete manuscript. My memoir. The travelogue. The documentation of progressive pack culture across two continents. "What are you going to call it?" Maya asked. I thought about my journey. From rejection to leadership. From despair to purpose. From broken to whole. "After the Rejection, I Became His Luna," I said. "But that's just the first part. The second part is about everything that came after. After the power. After the victory. After the main story ended, but life continued."

“What he told you was all true, but they were half-truths." And, dazedly, I nodded, still comprehending his revealed truth, which was still partial and incomplete. So, I waited patiently for him to continue. My blood rushed through my veins at a very unusual speed. Maybe because I had sensed somewhere I was not told the entire truth from the beginning, which he confirmed I wasn't. “The accident had left you with a brain injury,” I gulped. “It is when a person can no longer memorise or recall information that is stored in their memory. It was a large-scale loss of memories on your part because you have lost five years of it.”

“You’re kind of awesome, you know.” “Don’t let that get around,” I tease. “I’ve got a reputation for being only half-tame.” We both laugh, and Tyler barks like he’s seconding the motion. The bass hums through the walls behind us, but out here, it feels like everything’s slowing down just enough to remember it.

Third-Person POV Aston sat on the float with Hailey and Tamara. He looked at Hailey's radiant smile and suddenly thought of himself back when he'd been a child. He'd lived with his mother, Lindsay Barrera, in Barclena since he could remember. Lindsay was mentally unstable and rarely had any moments of normalcy. However, she would be lucid for half a day on his birthday every year, showing him rare tenderness and hugging him while calling him her most precious gift from the heavens.

He thought while taking a spoonful of food on his plate. “ You have what we call partial amnesia. “ He declared. “ What's a partial amnesia?” Danielle looked puzzled. She carelessly took a spoonful of fried fish with sweet and spicy sauce mixed with a little rice on it. She ate it and chewed it. “ Partial amnesia is what we called if you recall only half of your memories. It will take some time when you regained all your memories. It all depends on you. If you are willing to remember or not.”

The sun hit her skin like a memory she had not earned yet. "I'm tired of being half a person. I want to be whole. Even if being whole means remembering why I fell." She ended the call before he could answer.

Emily jeered wild eyed. "Ronan's the mismatched half. The half you were supposed to marry. Well, it does have a nice ring to it, don't you think?" Jess pondered upon while Lizzy nodded at the comment and Anya simply blinked as it all came to her, all at once. At first she didn't quite comprehend with all the halves they were mentioning but then it occurred to her that twins were also called halves and couples were denoted as halves and that's the denomination her friends were making.

Racheal said, looking down at my arms. I had scratched open my arms, using my claws. I shook my head and wiped away the tears. “Maybe you’re right. Maybe I shouldn’t remember. Because the more I learn, the more I hate the person I used to be.” Tabitha sighed and took a deep breath. “I apologize Luna Moon. But I felt something while I was in there. It’s almost like there were two people in those memories.” “So how do I know which one of the two is me? The bad one or the good one?” I asked, regretting ever letting Tabitha in.

“Who are you to pass judgement on someone who just resumed today?” He steps closer, getting into her face. “Well for your information, we’re brothers—” “Correction,” Xavier interrupts smoothly. “Half-brothers.” With a scowl, Charles ignores him. “And I’ve known him longer than you. If you let yourself get roped in by his charm, I’ll make sure you’re kicked out faster than he can sleep his way through an entire brothel.” Alara is in complete shock, rooted to a spot as she looks between the half-brothers. She missed the eyebrows and blue eyes. How did she not realize this earlier on?
