We quickened our pace and got to the manor through the secret tunnel that led from the dungeon just in time. There stood Alpha Hrigh uttering belittling words to ones I called mate. I stepped forward leaving Nailah in the shadow, I claimed my mates. I knew the consequence of claiming them on a full moon, I knew it would usurp all of my energy and I did not have my wolf for back up but I did it all the same. "Are you okay?" The White Lion helped his friend back to his feet. He provided energy support for Black Tiger to recover. "We must attack him together. It will be very difficult to attack him alone. Are you ready for that tactic?" Black Tiger stood back up. He signaled to the White Lion. "I understand. I am ready." The White Lion exhaled. He closed his eyes and began to concentrate his energy. The seven of us all nodded our heads, Benny was about to say something when one of Leon's motion alarms went off, "it's from the forest, near where we lost the scent." He brings the image on to the main screen. Six rogues come into view, they sniff the area and then wait, a few minutes later a group of rippers arrive. The two groups snarl and snap at each other. Darren took two steps forward to stand in front of Zeeb. He stood staring at the waterfall with a frown and a creased gaze for the longest while before finally turning to face the clan herald afterwards, " let's go!" He donned a serious and resolute expression as he urged. He shifted back into his lycan form, his snout coming to existence as his mouth tore till it reached underneath his pointy ears as he grew dark, deep brown furs.

Aree’s POV I couldn’t look straight at him as I sat on the edge of his bed. Even though he is my mate, I still feel intimidated because I regard him as the king of Lycans. His eyes never left mine. He was looking at me as if he didn’t want me to lose in his sight. His eyes darkened as he started to walk in my direction. I quickly looked away. I wasn’t sure how he would treat me. Does he have the ability to heal others? Usually, wolves can only heal themselves but not everyone. Oh yes, I remember--- he’s not a normal wolf, after all. He’s a mighty Lycan King.

The people around us watched admirably, and I could see the pride and happiness in their eyes. As I take Lia's hand in mine, I can feel the energy of the pack members around us. I find him in a hollow beneath a rock, a large, territorial male irritated by the noise of the trial. I don't fight him. I project the image of a rival entering his territory, right into the bottleneck. The lion lets out a low, vibrating growl and lunges out of the hollow. I follow him from the shadows, making the frantic, scratching sounds of a fleeing wolf, herding him straight toward the silver trap. I crouch on the ledge directly above Diana and Brielle, watching as the lion—a tawny blur of muscle—lunges into the pass.

She lunged forward, but Clar Lily cried out in pain but refused to admit she had learned it secretly. “So what?! You dare lay hands on me? I’ll have my beast husband deal with you!” At her call, Sean stepped forward with a fierce aura. Lily sneered inwardly—her mate was at peak fourth-tier, nearly fifth, while Clar’s side had only one away hunting and one also at fourth-tier. This time, she believed she would win.
