I lay my head on Xavier chest , while he slowly ran his fingers through my hair – this moment felt so peaceful and so right , yet the events that had to occur to get to this perfect moment left a guilty feeling in my chest. “Where do we go from here?” I break the silence. Every one stays silent , only the crackle of the fire is audioable. “I think we should keep travelling North ; Alexander conquers most of the South so I am pretty sure we can find some refuge up North” Andrew says , making us all agree that is a good idea. “Britney , did you not say you have some relatives up North?” I ask her recalling the conversation we had a few times before. She nods and smiles.

I opened Josy's door and handed over the book to her , I don't know why but while reading it I felt all my problems move aside it was like I was moving back to how I was only with the fact that I was stuck at one place. Josy this is the book from yesterday it was about,Every mother's wish to have a healthy baby when born. A baby that was born without any complications but my life was not like that. At the age of eight Irene was diagnosed with leukaemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia . It was not that rare in children so she wondered why she had to face this .

"The Great Demise: The Fall of the Moon Goddess" I turn to the first page, thankful for the late afternoon light that stretches in through the broken roof above me. Skimming over the words, I decide I should take the book back with me to read it more in-depth. The inscription in the beginning tells me that it is the history of the Alaskan pack, which is exactly why I came here. Shoving the book into my backpack, I pull the straps tight onto my shoulders before carefully stepping out of the rubble at my feet until I am outside. Going downhill takes much less time than going uphill, and I make it to the broken truck in no time.

___________________________________________________________________________ 22 / 11 / 2021 I watch as the various colour vehicles zoom pass by me – there was some thing soothing about the way there always seemed to have people who were busier than my family , it gave me a please of mind that we were normal. Does it make sense? I truly do not know. I always had a habit of looking out the window on a long trip – watching the sky , watching the people , some times watching the animals graze on the fields. It was all so thrilling!

Each of you holds a special place in my heart, and I am truly grateful that you chose to be part of this journey with me. Honestly, writing this book has not been easy. It has taken a lot of thought and effort to weave all these characters, their actions, their emotions, and the consequences of their choices together in a meaningful way. I understand that for some readers, the story may feel a little long. This is also the first time I have written a book of this scale. But trust me, there have been books much longer than this one, so we're still doing fine! 😂 Jokes aside, while we are getting closer to the ending, we are not done with these characters and their lives just yet.

The air was breathing differently, like we weren’t just traveling, we were being summoned. The map in the book had grown warmer in my satchel, pulsing each night as we neared the final mark. I’d only taken it out once since the journey began, afraid that too much exposure might draw attention we weren’t ready to fight off. This morning, the terrain turned brutal.

“No one gets near them until they wake up.” JJ nodded. “It will be done.” I took one last look down the hallway that led back to the room where Jayden and Sammy were sleeping. Then I turned away.
