*Lilith POV* (A/N: I know many of you will be wondering why there is a book two when we can definitely end things here, but it's a NO. One can't kill so many enemies at once, right? What I felt for Thierry was becoming more than mutual understanding; am I really acting like I want him for my revenge or am I actually falling for him?

I look through the window watching the white puffs of clouds passing through the plane as my whole body jittered. It's finally the day we leave for Hawaii and have two weeks off vacation to celebrate Rex and I's engagement. Grandpa had booked us first class for everyone and almost had taken the total seats with a large group like us. My son and his cousins are taking a jet with Grandpa back to London. However, I'm excited about this trip and still worried about being away from my baby boy.

“You know what, I don’t even know why I’m still here when there’s loads of places with better service.” Reggie turned on her heels and headed for the door, the annoyance she was feeling was giving her a very nasty headache. She didn’t make it that far though, her knees gave out beneath her and she collapsed to the ground in a faint. The last thing she saw, were Chris and the attendant rushing to her aid in what seemed to be in slow motion. And then there was just darkness. ***** Chris watched the annoying vixen sleep, I.V lines connected to her veins, replenishing whatever it was that she had lost.

In my desperate quest to leave this nightmare that he felt would never end, he stumbled on, feeling his way around, exploring new passageways that would hopefully lead him out. The trees began to shudder as he resumed his trek with the leprechaun, and the birds fled from their nests in terror. The contagious sickness was spread by the smell of burning wood in the air. As he continued on my never-ending quest, the crunch of twigs and dead leaves was loud.

It gave him some semblance of peace to witness such a miraculous occurrence. To his disappointment, the contentment that he normally felt during this time eluded him. His mind was filled with confusion and frustration. He’d intently listened to Ari’s tale of woes about all that occurred while journeying from Center Land to his home and was sorry for what she’d endured during it. A trip that should have taken her no more than two days on foot – less on horseback - had lasted the better part of a week. She’d been so preoccupied with fleeing for her life -as well as traumatized by the sight and sound of her mare being devoured- that she’d gone off her intended route and was lost in a barre

“Do you think that the kidnappers were from this time period?” I asked Jassy after she’d put me through a particularly grueling magic lesson. Because I was surprised to discover that the world that I was in and the three dimensional homeland that I longed to return to existed on parallel planes and along the same timeline and the fact that I was a traveler, I couldn’t help asking the question. The look on Jassy’s face as she considered my question made me think of a cartoon showing a lightbulb going off in the person’s head. She spoke with a hint of excitement. “It is not something that I considered. I question if anyone has until now.”
