“There has to be something here.” Finally, I found a section marked with a strange symbol—two intertwined rings with jagged edges. It felt significant somehow. Pulling out a large, leather-bound book, I set it on a nearby dusty table and opened it. It feels like no one has been here since ages. The pages were fragile, but I handled them carefully, my heart pounding as I skimmed the text. Most of it was hard to understand—old spells, rituals, and theories on magic. But then I saw it.

A symbol on the bark of one of the trees caught my eyes and my head raised in surprise. "What is that?" I asked in alarm, pointing at the tree which was far behind us. Liam decelerated and drove back to the spot, staring at the symbol. "That looks familiar," he muttered, his eyes glued on the symbol. He turned and reached into a bag, pulling out a worn-out book. He flipped through the dusty pages and stopped at a page, staring from whatever was on the book to the symbol on the tree. "Shit! This is bad!" He snapped and dropped the book, stepping on the accelerator pedal.

Jo stepped inside. Books. Thousands of them. Stacked in spiral towers that reached toward a glass dome above, letting filtered moonlight spill over the marble floor. She felt a hum beneath her feet, like the library was alive with secrets. She walked slowly between the shelves, fingertips brushing spines of books bound in hide, bark, even ice itself. Some had no titles—only symbols. Her eyes caught one symbol that looked eerily like the crest Victor once wore on his sword. A chill snaked up her back.

She had the same eyes as Gabby. He carefully put everything back and locked the drawer then he returned the book to its place. He then went ahead to the next drawer and pulled out another book, reading faster through the pages. He closed the thick book his fingers shaking slightly. He stared at the strange symbols on the cover before sliding it back into its secret place in the drawer. Then he closed the drawer, locked the door and left the library. As soon as Steve entered his room and locked the door behind him, the full weight of the prophecy hit him again like a heavy stone.

Lucy POV: I never thought I’d see that symbol again. Not since her. So when I opened the book Rose brought me and that mark stared right back at me, I felt the breath catch in my throat. "Emma, look," Gabriel called out, his voice hushed but filled with excitement. He stood before a weathered book, its pages yellowed with age. "I believe this tome holds the key to unlocking the secrets of the symbol."

I am the winner, and you belong to me. Just me.” She knew what Aslan was saying was right. John had indeed lost her on a poker table as if she was nothing but another of his belongings just like his watch or an old table.

In her hands was the red book cover, torn in two, and the original book cover was finally able to breathe after years of being hidden; in the middle of the original black book cover was a gold symbol. “Bingo.” * “Okay,” Arrow sighed, hovering over the book. “What the Hell is that?” “This,” Chelsa said, her smile never leaving her face. All of us still in that abandoned and underground room, hovering over this book; I held my flashlight up and over the top, letting the gold symbol glint and gleam. “Is a symbol-” “Duh, Chelsa,” Arrow rolled his eyes and I smacked in the arm. “Continue,” I smiled and nodded to Chelsa, she smiled back and continued.

Intrigued, i decided to take the book back to the cabin to show Nikau. When i arrived back at the cabin, i excitedly showed Nikau the book, telling him all about the strange symbols and images that i had seen. Nikau was equally intrigued by the book, but nikau said that he would be leaving to check out on the pack for a few days. He asked me not to join him as he would be travelling in his wolf form. After he left, I settled into my cozy spot by the fireplace in the cabin, I opened the old book I had checked out from the library. The title, "The Lost Village of Ravenswood", immediately caught my attention and I was eager to learn more about this mysterious place.
