Alpha's Second Choice

Alpha's Second Choice

Jo stepped inside. Books. Thousands of them. Stacked in spiral towers that reached toward a glass dome above, letting filtered moonlight spill over the marble floor. She felt a hum beneath her feet, like the library was alive with secrets. She walked slowly between the shelves, fingertips brushing spines of books bound in hide, bark, even ice itself. Some had no titles, only symbols. Her eyes caught one symbol that looked eerily like the crest Victor once wore on his sword. A chill snaked up her back.

The Dumb Cursed Heiress and Her Mates: Reborn For Revenge

The Dumb Cursed Heiress and Her Mates: Reborn For Revenge

"The truth-fire burns those unworthy of its secrets. It marks those who are meant to know. The mark remains until the truth is fully embraced." He looked from the book to my bandaged hand. "What truth are you hiding, Valerie? What did that book show you before it burned?" My heart beat fast. I picked up my notepad with my good hand. It was just old words. I didn't understand them. It was about symbols and magic. It scared me. Noah glared at me. "It scared you? Or it told you something you don't want me to know?" It scared me, I wrote again. The book burned in my hands. I was afraid.

The First Wife’s Revenge

The First Wife’s Revenge

But at the very bottom of one trunk, beneath yellowed sheets, her fingers had touched something strange. It was a black leather, bound book. Its cover was scratched but strong, the edges stitched with red thread. On the front, pressed into the leather, was a symbol she had never seen before, a crescent moon crossed by three arrows. Her breath caught. Something about the symbol made her skin prickle. It looked like it belonged in old legends, not in her mother’s private things. With shaky hands and curious mind, Olivia opened the book. The first page held a sentence written in red ink, almost like dried blood:

BLOOD MOON ALLIANCE

BLOOD MOON ALLIANCE

Then, She stopped. A symbol. Carved into a book spine. Familiar. Too familiar. Her breath caught. She had seen it before. Not here. Not recently. But somewhere else. A memory flickered. Her childhood. Her mother. A necklace. Amber’s hand trembled slightly as she reached for the book. She pulled it out. Slowly. Carefully. Like it might disappear if she moved too fast. She opened it. And everything changed. THE TRUTH BEGINS : The pages were old. Worn. But clear. Drawings filled the margins. Symbols. Marks.

The Alpha's Hidden Twins

The Alpha's Hidden Twins

It was safer, and they were much happier there. Once I made sure they were settled and everything was peaceful, I headed straight for the Luna d'Argento pack library. I was searching for a particular book that might contain the same symbol I had found inside my mother's diary. I thought about asking the librarian for help, but I stopped myself. If she recognized the symbol, she might become suspicious and start asking questions I wasn't ready to answer. Instead, I walked quietly toward the oldest section of the library, where shelves filled with dusty books stretched as far as my eyes could see. One by one, I pulled them out, flipping through faded pages, hoping that somewhere among them I w

Annalisa

This was something Spencer had dropped in his haste. A surge of adrenaline washed over me. This book might hold the answers I desperately craved. With trembling hands, I flipped it open. The first page was filled with cryptic symbols and swirling script, an arcane language that sent a shiver down my spine. Was this some sort of dark magic manual? A guide for assassins? My stomach lurched at the thought.

Alpha's Dilemma : Claiming My Golden Wolf Luna

HAZEL The book looked old, the edges worn and covered in dust, but it was the symbol on the cover that caught my attention. Something about it felt familiar, like I had seen it before—but where? My fingers hovered over the rough leather, tracing the faint lines of the design. The more I looked, the more I felt like I had to take it with me. “Lucian,” I said, holding the book up. “Do you know what this symbol means?” He frowned, stepping closer to examine it. “No idea. Never seen it before. Why?”

The Rejected Alpha Queen

The Rejected Alpha Queen

“But be careful what you seek. Some knowledge carries a weight that’s hard to put down.” I nodded silently, then turned my attention to the books. I ran my fingers along the spines, each one labeled with symbols instead of titles. One in particular caught my attention, it had a crimson ribbon binding it shut, with a faint marking on the cover: a crescent moon surrounded by flames. Without knowing why, I reached for it. The moment my fingers touched the leather, a shiver ran down my spine. Something told me this book wasn’t just old, it was forbidden.

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

I didn't waste time going toward the doors and they opened revealing the sight of a mini library which was more like a library of potions for I could see weird-looking glasses with liquid or smoke in them and the books were old as well. I avoided the potions, him doing witchcraft wasn't new and I went straight to the books. I picked one up and flipped through the pages barely understanding the weird writing on them and was about to drop it when I flipped to the last page and saw something. I looked at the symbol swallowing and fighting hard against the memories that crammed my head. It was her signature or should I say trademark. The book belonged to her. I searched through the rest they wer

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)
