He pressed the barrel of his gun to his uncle’s forehead, but then—he lowered it.
“No,” Luca growled, voice low and venomous. “This is too easy for you. Dying like this would be mercy.”
He glanced over his shoulder, his men standing silent, watching. “Marco!” he barked.
Marco, his most discreet enforcer, hurried forward. Luca didn’t look at him, eyes still pinned on Zio. “Bring me the poison. The one that rots a man from the inside out. Slowly.”
Zio’s bloodied lips curled into a grotesque smile. “You think you frighten me, boy? I’ve lived in hell long before you were born…”
