Shadows of the Vow

Shadows of the Vow

The five prisoners, and Nina were loaded into the back of a van, guarded tightly by the team. The journey was tense and silent, broken only by the occasional shifting of the wounded and the soft footsteps of the guards. Matteo rode alongside me, discussing the plan. “The park is symbolic. It’s where they would feel like they're safe.” I nodded. “Exactly. Taking them back there sends a message, not just to them, but to anyone who thinks they can defy us.” Bukky and Diego flanked the prisoners in the van, their eyes cold and watchful.

Warm My Bed, Little Pumpkin!

Warm My Bed, Little Pumpkin!

Now, inside the sprawling, dimly lit safehouse tucked deep in the city, their prisoners sat behind locked doors. Carlson, with his split lip and bloodied knuckles, glared at the walls of the small holding room where he, Stanley, Diego, and a handful of his loyal boys were confined, looking powerless for the first time in years, but that last statement was for all except Carlson. He was always nabbed in his own game.

The Prison Bride

The Prison Bride

In a suburban prison in Rossenville City. "Prisoner 847, Jessie Stewart. Your family's here to pick you up. Try to behave yourself this time. Don't come back." Jessie Stewart numbly accepted a box of her belongings from the prison guard, nodded silently, and followed the instructions to change out of her uniform into the same clothes she had arrived in. A short-sleeved dress that had sat folded for three years, its fabric faded and creased, now hung loosely on her.

THE LUNA WHO CONQUERED DEATH

THE LUNA WHO CONQUERED DEATH

"Can I talk to them? With you and Katherine there? Please?" Against my better judgment, I agreed. The twelve prisoners were held in secure rooms in the basement. They looked terrible. Injured, exhausted, their faces showing the defeat of true believers whose faith had been shattered. The oldest, a man perhaps fifty with burns covering half his face, spoke first when Luna entered with Katherine and me.

After Prison, I Became the Woman He Could Never Have

After Prison, I Became the Woman He Could Never Have

She only wanted Julian to sign as soon as possible so she could be free of them sooner. Half an hour later, the old man sent back one short line. Grandpa only has one wish now: that all of you stay well. Sera lowered her eyes and stared at the words on her screen, lost in thought. Stay well. She had once wanted nothing more than to be good to them. But ever since the father and son joined forces to send her to prison, there had been no road back. The warm yellow lamplight fell over her shoulder, making the words on the screen look unbearably bright.

Triplets Secret Lover

Triplets Secret Lover

Trembling, Patrick Smith shouted. "Where is this? Where exactly is this!" cried Patrick Smith hysterically with a pale face. In front of Patrick was a thick, transparent glass wall. Across the glass, a vast ocean stretched out without limits. Thick transparent glass covered two steel-framed cages suspended by an extensive chain. Each glass cage contained one prisoner. One male prisoner. Franz Smith. One female prisoner. Merry Smith. Both of them were covered in blood all over their bodies. The floor of the cage was muddy with pools of blood.

The Ultimate Husband

The Ultimate Husband

At that moment, Dax, Yvette and others were all sitting in prison, looking sad. ‘It’s been two days and we’re not sure if Ambrose has found a solution,’ they wondered. Creak. At that moment, the prison door opened and ten prison guards entered slowly, protecting a slim figure. It was Sarah. At that moment, Sarah looked like Monica. “Your Highness, the prisoners are all here. None of them have escaped!” the leader of the guards said to Sarah respectfully.

Beautiful Prisoner of the Alpha Male

Beautiful Prisoner of the Alpha Male

If that were the case, this place might not only trap her and Alpha Levi but there might be others as well. In Arista's memories, she had never heard her master mention activating the Tunderman Tower. This sealing business had been going on since she experienced it. Therefore, if other sealed beings were inside the tower, they must have been imprisoned here from ancient times. It would be impossible for the inmates here to be weaklings. The Tunderman Tower has nine floors, and there may be more than just one or two individuals imprisoned there. If that Alpha Levi had a little courage, he could release all those inmates and maybe even have the ability to detonate the tower.

Rejected by Her Alpha Mate: Desired by Another

Rejected by Her Alpha Mate: Desired by Another

the guard smacked his lips as he slammed the gate shut and when I followed his gaze it landed on two prisoners inside the cell beside mine. “Let me go! You can't do this to me!” I gripped the rods, pushing and yelling. “It will do you more good to stay calm,” one of the prisoners said. I was tired and felt like breaking down into tears. I looked at the prisoners. They seemed comfortable and I almost asked them what their crimes were but swallowed my words. They said the pack was at peace but we still had prisoners. “I stole from my neighbour, that's why I'm here,” one of the prisoners said as if h

The Hidden Luna Queen

The Hidden Luna Queen

There were only about 4 prisoners. “What’s going on?” One of the men asked, stepping out of the prison, his clothes torn and his body covered in filth. “The Kingdom is being taken over by the bears,” I told him. “I’m letting you go. You can either escape or fight. It’s up to you. But I’m giving you a fighting chance. It’s not fair to keep you locked here under the circumstances,” I explained. He looked surprised, as did the others. But he soon gave me a grateful nod before taking off, a couple of the men trailing behind him.

No matter how intriguing this book is, don’t start it unless you’ve checked that it’s been completed, or be prepared for long waits. This is author is trying to write 13 stories at once. Updates are slow and she is stretched too far.

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.
