House Of Fire - Book One of Seven Series

House Of Fire - Book One of Seven Series

I glance at the elbow-length gloves on her hands but chose not to ask about them, considering I’m sporting my pair of black gloves. Instead, I stepped up to help ease some of the load since they look like they weigh a lot. Giving me a grateful smile, she shifts the rest of the books to one gloved hand and held out the other. “Hi, the names Eva McGill. Now, I might be wrong but I’m guessing you’re the new roommate we’re supposed to be expecting.” “Coral Ray and I think I am.” I sigh, glad to meet someone who appears nice. Releasing my hand, she moves towards the cabin and gestures for me to follow.

Moaning For The Enemy: Her Sister's Betrothed Alpha

Moaning For The Enemy: Her Sister's Betrothed Alpha

she started. They will not I promised. My voice came out low and deadly like a solemn vow. Because I am finished being the good heir. I am the one who knows exactly how to break every lock. I made a sharp turn onto a narrow private gravel road. Tall dark trees closed in around the car like bony fingers reaching out. At the end of the long drive the Summer House rose up huge and dark. It was an old Victorian Gothic building made of heavy stone and wood stained by years of salt from the sea. It sat right on the edge of the high Atlantic cliffs. It looked less like a house and more like a clear warning.

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

Where The Summer Wind Blows (book One)

And then there were Marianne and Elena—inside, carrying the weight of summer storms long past, and secrets that stretched across years like invisible threads. Gemma opened her notebook, pen poised above the blank page. She didn’t know what she was about to write—an observation, a story, a warning. Maybe all three. But she knew one thing: this summer wasn’t just fleeting warmth and careless laughter. It was a convergence, a delicate balance of past and present, of choices and consequences.

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

The Lycan King's Defiant Surrogate

All of the furniture is uneven and mismatched, yet everything is very clean and otherwise neat. An old woman, doing her best to maintain her home. I don’t see any sign of the male’s name the registry also said lived at this address, but I make no mention of it and won’t, if she won’t. “Who told you about Summer?” she asks. “Caleb carries a weight around him, regarding what happened in the past. But no one is allowed to talk about it. I did snooping on my own, and I found her picture.”

I have read so many of your books on this app. They are all so amazing. I just know that this story will be just as amazing as your other ones. Thank you for being such a great writer and author. I am excited to keep reading another story of yours.

Great story! But I did feel that there were some inconsistencies, e.g. the baby. Also Harper doesn't end up as a surrogate, so I'm not sure the title accurately captures the essence of the book. I also felt that the ending was a bit rushed. When did Caleb realise that Harper was his mate?

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

One of the women sitting at the mahjong table suddenly blurted out, “Oh, Summer! Are you going to sell all of your houses and properties in Aurous Hill then?” Summer replied, “I will just keep one of the smaller condominiums in the urban area. If there is an opportunity in the future, my family can come back to Aurous Hill for a short vacation for a few days.” Elaine could not help but feel a little sorry and disappointed when she heard Summer’s words.

I Dumped My Ungrateful Husband and Stepson

I Dumped My Ungrateful Husband and Stepson

When I was near his house, I suddenly heard some strange birds chirping. It was piercing and short, and it did not at all sound like the birds in the forest. I paused and saw a dark figure looking around the door of Charles’ house. It was Summer Smith, a widow. Before long, someone opened the shabby wooden door of Charles’ house with a creak. I quickly hid in the shadow of a nearby locust tree. Charles and Summer were seven to eight steps apart as they left the house before walking toward the fields on the outskirts of town.

In The Summer, Where Cicadas Buzz

In The Summer, Where Cicadas Buzz

The snow-white petals bloomed delicately against my pale fingertips, and that memory had pushed him to leave that small house in a hurry. He continued along the path, but it seemed endless. Anxiety clawed at his chest, and he pressed his hand over his heart, feeling it pound violently. Before the hypnosis ended, Ethan found himself awake. The psychiatrist held the notebook from the session. Words filled the pages. [Fall University. Going to Fall University. Take Sadie to Fall University. Fall University on Richmond Road.] “Mr. Jones, your memory seems to be jogging. I suggest you visit Fall University,” the psychiatrist said, laying the notes in front of him.

THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU

THE SWITCH: 100 DAYS OF ME AND YOU

I walked to the car and then got inside and sat right next to Grayham. “Where are you headed?” “You mean where are we headed?” He said and punched his phone quickly before plunging it into his pocket then he turned to me. “Well, the café is closed. It’s a slow day at the office so I was wondering if you’d like to have a look at my summer house.” “Summer house?” “Yeah.” Grayham straightened. “Mind if you close the door?” I slammed the car door and turned to him. He cleared his throat. “So I have this home just beside the sea. It’s not big but it’s cosy. I go there every summer and last year, I wanted it repainted. I haven’t been there to check on the work even once.”
