Eason reminded him from the front passenger seat. Cedrick closed his laptop slowly and looked out of the window. He could immediately see the twins having fun in the field. They were wearing a pair of blue uniforms and cute little shoes. In the sun, they looked exactly identical. They had the same looks, the same height, and even their voices were almost the same. The only thing to tell them apart was their facial expression. Miles was laughing wholeheartedly and looked very carefree, while Ollie was more reserved and more elegant.

It took over a month for Kady to introduce her to Taylor. “Figured you guys would appreciate snacks.” The second voice was too much. It wasn’t as deep but it had a rasp to it. Zira twisted in her seat to see two identical twins standing directly behind her. Her eyes trailed up their long muscular legs to the fitted t-shirts that were hugging their bodies. It accentuated the muscles peeking out beneath it. Her eyes continued traveling up until they reached the twin’s amber eyes.

Two people positioned at the brink of a precipice. Twins. Rowan was next to me. "Seems recognizable." I gulped nervously. "It’s we." She nodded somberly. "Then your mother was aware the whole time." I sensed the heaviness of that embed into my core. The engravings narrated a tale, one of strength, conflict, and devotion. And in each portrayal, just one twin was left in the end. My abdomen contorted. I wished to think there was an alternative path. Yet the ruins, my mother’s voice, the prophecy alone… all indicated the same sorrowful reality.

Had I begged for tranquilizers over a girl I’d imagined? Lycans and Vampires have always been sworn enemies, and Vampires wielded the power of persuasion. And then, I saw Jeff himself, his eyes fixed on me with a snarl of hatred and defeat. "Jeff's eyes blazed with fury as he charged towards us, his teeth bared and his claws extended. It was clear that his intention was to kill us, the Alpha twins, and put an end to our reign. But we were not about to let that happen. Treyton and I swiftly dodged his attack, our reflexes honed from years of battle and training. We stood firm, our feet shoulder-width apart, and our eyes fixed on Jeff with a fierce determination.

Leam said as he took a quick bite of the eggs. “That is true. It is extremely rare for someone to have two mates, even for twins. It is usually only alpha twins that have a single mate. Although it doesn’t make sense to me.” Lucas said and Leam nodded in agreement. “Considering we are encouraged to have many pups. Not exactly fair to our single mate, is it?” Leam mentioned. “Right, yeah. I was definitely not expecting two mates. I was expecitng more than one and I guess I am worried that I won't be able to satisfy you.”

Mom panicked. Dad kept hitting something. "I have tried, but they are not working at all." I thought the worst had passed away, but it was just getting started. "Aaarrrhhh!" I screamed as my bones started breaking and resetting. My spine grew longer and my femurs broke into two. I felt them changing shapes and taking different forms. I turned to look at Mom and Dad. The looks on their faces as they stared at me were horrifying. But that was when I noticed it, the two bright lights speedily approaching us.

There I saw the twins, Liana and Liam, already equipped with their light armor. It hurt me to see them like that; they looked so young, barely children seeking their place in the pack that had murdered their parents years ago. I felt a knot of pride and fear in my chest. “You two, don't leave my side for a second!” I ordered them mentally. They looked at each other and nodded with a determination that did not correspond to their age. In front of the mansion gates, two huge rebels, almost the size of Alphas, blocked our path. They were wolves with yellow eyes, filled with hatred.

I asked and Tamia looked away. “ They are werewolves who chose to stay away from the pack, cutting ties with their packs and choosing to stay hidden. Some are criminals who escape judgement, others are as a result of war, while others choose to be rogues out of their free will.” Tamia explained, making me nod. “ So why did Mason's twin become a rogue?” I asked, and I saw Tamia's eyes widen before she looked away. “ That's a forbidden topic in the pack, Lisa,you should refrain from mentioning Alpha Theo's name.” Tamia said. I could feel the fear in her voice, but something else entirely different caught my attention.

A large window allowed natural light to flood the room, making everything look even more enchanting. "Mummy, it's pretty!" The twins instinctively knew their beds. Eloise went to the pink side of the room while Dexter went to the blue side "Mummy, look, it's Optimus Prime." Dexter's squealed as he trailed his hand on the real life sized Optimus Prime action figure against the wall. I leaned against the wall as I watched the twins interact with the room. "You guys have fun here, mummy is coming okay?" "Okay, mummy."
